Lighting 2nd Grow: Rapid Afghan and Easy Ryder, Airpots, CFL

it feels odd every time i log into AFN not to have a new Noods grow to check out... it's kinda bumming me out lol. so whats up for you next cream caramel? and anything else?

Prez, thank you for that post and for showing another example of the meaning of "The Love".
Nice words my friend! :smokebuds:

Here's the deal: Right now we're having another cold, wet spell. Temps are down to 8° - 10°C at night, so it's still a little too cold for my comfort. I think -I feel- that this is going to be the last of the cold and it will get warmer and stay that way in about two weeks. If that's the case, it's Canna Time.

I'll be putting three JD's Lowryder #2's in some very small 250ml pots, and will let them grow out on the balcony. They won't have sun all day, but will have enough sun for what I have planned. The small -very small- pots will aid in stealth by keeping the plants very small, hence the name of this project; Mini-Ryders Spoog On The Balcony.

I hope that at least one of those LR's will be a male and I can collect some pollen. If we see all ladies, cool. Some LR#2 bud is fine with me! I'll just have to germ some more... I'll store the pollen little in zip-lock bags with them silicon-dry-packet what-cha-ma-callems and rice inside a Tupperware bowl and lid. I might even get off with two three-plant-runs, with pollen gathered even later...

Assuming we get some pollen, I'll try to knock up some Cream Caramels and a Royal Bluematic from RQ Seeds that will be growing in my new cab as soon as I notice that the temps outside have started dropping. Ambient heat is an issue in the room where my cab will be, so Summer has to be on the wing before I start.

I've seriously wanted the CC's for the longest time. I just wish I'd ordered some Dragons as well. That really bums me out, but I got these seeds and I will not waste them by letting them get too old. My next order goes to Wiz or I am not a Marijuana lover!

I c a n n o t f#%ing wait to get started again!
:smokebuds:

I cant wait my friend! Sounds like a hell of a plan but like prez said it don't feel right not seeing my good friend not growing! Warm weather karma sent bro! And hopefully I can get you too run some of my crosses with some female seeds I will send you as well!

What up noods amazing cfl grow man major props to you, I was just wondering why you busted your air pot up , is that something that just happened?Im asking because I just got two of them and was planning to re - using them but I might have to buy more if they split like that .

Hey shark, what's up?! Thanks for the kindness! :smokebuds:

Nothing's busted though. The air pots I have have two plastic "screws" each and you just unscrew them and the pots fold open like that. Makes for real easy removal of the root ball and soil when you're doing the cleanup. So now you can stack them flat for easy storage, or just re-form your pot and turn the screws back in. Easy Peasy.
:smoke:

Here in this pic you can see the scews. Top left and bottom right of the one on the left, and up top under the tape on the pot on the right.

Figured stopping in and showing some thread love is in order. This shows what auto flowers will do and you showed what cfl will do. Pretty sick grow really. Hads absolutly upped the anticipation for my crack at them.

At this rate, I'll never get my Balcony Grow thread started. It was sunny and getting warm this morning from 7:00 till about 9:30. Then it started to snow and ended up looking like this outside:

At least I have my Tomaters started inside, keeping the Grow Nerves calmed. I wanted to have them outside by now, but they're enjoying their warm window-sill and Worm Castings with FishMix:

The Cosmos's are getting stretchy and they're wondering why they can't go outside and enjoy some sun:

...as are the Geraniums. They're crying about the cold and lack of light:

I hope it gets warm soon.

So then, in keeping in the spirit of what it's all about here, have a big smell in the Afghan jar:

Ahhh, sweet like very ripe Peaches or Apricots, big time Skunk, and some Anise or Liquorice. *headspinning*
