Late to the party but here’s my 0.02 USD.

Spent 24 years in the field as a street medic and flight RN/Paremedic in a large metropolitan area. I never ran a call where someone got on the highway the wrong way and killed a family of four after smoking cannabis. Those are the guys that are hammered on alcohol. Never had to fight a patient in the back of the truck or helo because they’d smoked weed either.

No murder/suicides where I found a bag of weed on the floor next to the deceased. Plenty of empty liquor bottles though over the years.

Alcohol is the primary trigger on the soft white underbelly of our society where we live as first responders. People do bad stuff to other people on a daily basis.

Cumulative Stress is common for career first responders. Flying out of a Level 1 Trauma Center to work with the most critically injured comes with a price. We were also the pediatric trauma center. Once we begin to age those “bridges” that were built to function normally in that environment begin to crumble. You may think you’re a badass....right up until all of those years rolling around in other people’s body fluids and grief catches up with you. I’ll stop there.

Enter: the end of my 30+ year hiatus from cannabis and her healing medicinal cannabinoids. Almost feel like myself again.

There are no high CBD/low THC offerings at the dispensaries. Zero. Lots of heavy indicas for those with pain/hunger/insomnia issues. A little Fastbuds CBD Crack in the evening helps put it all into perspective. A sativa dominant high CBD/low THC stain is what I’m on the hunt for now.

I didn’t find too many available options for Sativa Dominant High CBD/Low THC strains so I jumped on these seeds when I found them. Hopefully she gets into gear soon.

Right on. Congratulations for that!

I discovered that a pint of bourbon a day didn’t make the “skeletons in the closet” go away, it enabled them. My return to cannabis has been nothing short of life changing. Like someone hit the “reset” button. Understanding people’s mileage may vary, I’m super fortunate that there is something out there to help iron out the wrinkles.
