Hey everyone I’m back with my second grow. Growing Gorilla Girl by Sweetseeds. I decided to germ these babies in a paper towel this time until I got tap roots about an inch long. Placed them in the soil on Dec. 29th. 2 days later they broke ground we are now sitting on day 4 and the girls look happy to be alive!! Will keep posted on the happenings.. thanks for following!

Day 10 today.. Getting bigger every day. Still only feeding water PH’d to around 5.8, also forgot to mention for this grow I switched lights and am trying the Mars hydro ST1000. I didn’t do too much LST on my first grow but as soon as the ladies are ready for it I am going to LST these beautiful ladies and try to increase my yield this time. I could use any help with training along the way so anyone familiar and good at it please add your 2 cents much appreciated thanks in advance!!

And so it begins day 14 and starting some mild LST. Hope I’m doing it right but only time will tell. Honestly don’t think anything I’m doing is going to hurt the girls but it may not helping either who knows??

Ok so since I’m new to trying this LST thing I’ve decided that I’m going to do a side by side 2 control grow same strain same feed schedule everything. One of the ladies is going to get my best effort at LST and the other girl just does her thing. As always I would love to get tips tricks and any help offered...oh yeah today is day 21!

Day 30! These ladies really are a short bushy girls!! I love this about them so far as I only grow for my own personal smoke. I use just a 3x3x5 tent so not much room for the taller ladies. They’ve been on the same feed schedule: 2ml. Cal/mag, and micro, and 4ml of the bloom. PH’d to around 5.8-6.2. I only feed the nutes every other watering though. I definitely believe in the less is more philosophy. Almost the exact same feed schedule as my last grow with the white widow and they turned out amazing!! That’s about dudes and dudettes stay high and stay happy!!

Looking good neighbor.

Ok I need help here... why are my girls not budding??? I’m at about 65 days here with my gorilla girls they look and act healthy they just don’t seem to want bud??? I don’t think it’s anything I’m doing wrong does anyone have any experience with this strain? Is it a 90 day or more strain, do they bud and pack on weight quickly when they start?

Nice looking plants...to force flower, switch to 12/12.
In 14 yrs growing autos, I can't remember an auto not auto-ing within 4 weeks, usually by 3....
To get into and stay in the auto game which exploded several years ago, breeders sometimes pushed the genetics and the photo traits sneak in. Just switch and enjoy....may add a little to ya growing time.
