New Grower 2nd Grow: Anvil, Sour Stomper, CDLC // MH SP3000 // BioALL Org. Soil

yeah, replant the little girl somewhere and if she lives she lives, i have a hard time killing things, my extra pepper seedlings get replanted in the front flower bed ;)
Alright, boys, let’s see what happens. Gives me something to do with my leftover FFOF as well. I think I got the whole tap root out successfully.

My insurance Anvil seed popped today so when she gets just a bit bigger I’ll try transplanting her too.

You will enjoy it and if they die no stress you were going to kill them anyways lol
When they get big try bottom feeding as solo grows get thirsty later on in bloom

Nice, I'm 6 for 6 in germination this time around. In all three pots, the seeds that spent the night in a cup of distilled water popped first, but the others were not far behind. Good start. Looks like I'll have three solo cup grows going too LOL (if they survive being pulled and transplanted).

In case any new users of the Mars Hydro SP3000 end up reading this thread: For my first grow, I started off with the light about 14 inches above the soil, light on 30%. For this grow, I've got the light 36 inches up, 100%, trying out this guy's settings. So far, the girls seem to be a bit leggier, stretching more. I used my Photone app with paper diffuser, which the dude from Migro found to be surprisingly accurate for PAR readings, and PAR was a good bit higher on 14" 30% setting, so it makes sense that they're reaching a bit more now. If they get leggier, I'll adjust the lights back down to what I did first grow.

Where do you run your lights for new seedlings with your SP3000, @WildBill? (See previous post.)

Well that was my intention anyways. As it turns out I’d started these girls at 36” and 30%. Oops. That would explain the legginess. Sorted!

I think getting started is the most stressful! I've only made leggy babies so far. However, it did make watering really easy as all the nodes/leaves were well above the soil.

I have only had squat short bushy ladies so far, i just start 30-33" with my leds from sprout and dial it in, I'm not to sure when they get to much and don't like it but i can tell when they want more :cooldance:

Starting off is very stressful making sure all the girls are happy with light and water needs :smoking:

Girls are all doing fine on Day 3.

Anvil, who started a little leggy after my dimmer mishap but she’s building leaves now:

Sour Stomper popped a day later so she’s a bit behind but doing fine:

Creme de la Chem seems vigorous from the start. Looking good:
