New Grower 2nd auto grow.

Hey up

The coldest day of the year and my son unplugged the grow! It was -4 in the loft but thanks to the insulation, the grow didn't get below 7c. Still feck in cold mind!

I counted to 10 before explaining the error of my son's way. If I didn't know better I'd think it was teenage folly!

Anyway, I had such a fat hump I didn't really check the girls. I should imagine the sharp chill would have certainly hurried the ripening along (if not killed them!).

Unless there's a disaster the next update should be final harvest.

Shortest plant, lo nest colas. I'm expecting a dry weight of around 3/4 of a lb.

What will I do with myself now the harvest is in?

Debrief.

I thought I'd review some of my try outs.

Mars LED, I've got the 5w reflector series. Impressed is not the word. I've used traditional HPS years ago,I've tried cfls and nothing compares to this.
Loads of resin production and the densest buds I have EVER seen!

The wilma drip system, bit cheap looking, worked faultlessly and survived 14 1/2 stone of relaxed muscle landing on it.

Canna nutes, used these back in the day. Still the shiznits now, (had some lock out due to my own mistakes).

White label seeds, poor germ rate. These took ages to arrive after they had reported them dispatched, so maybe their extended time in transit may have exposed them to something. The dinafem also had crap germ rates, but I got them from a head shop so no doubt they had been stored poorly. (I just dropped 4 Dutch Passion. 100% germ rate).

It was my 1st winter loft grow, bit of a steep learning curve regarding temperature control requirements, but fruitful.

Now on to the next mission.

Cheers mate.

Extremely relaxed.!

I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and call in my IT specialist on the link thing. I'm a bit of a Luddite with anything containing a pcb. Cheers for the rep.

I had One of those wonderful grower moments yesterday when we were doing a quick stock take and I found i'd over looked a kilner jar full of 3 oz!
