I ran my first dozen plus plants in
and tbh it caused me nothing but trouble. I had a lot of issues that looked like what you're describing, even without adding nutes. Not sure if it was a case of a water retention issue, nutes being too much (the listed numbers are a minimum, not an exact), improperly composted, or whatever. Regardless, I won't be going back to it. I tried my best to make it work, even if for no reason besides it was what I had and I wanted to see if I could prove the people telling me it was not great wrong. But the difference using an actual organic water only type soil has been mind blowing. And tbh I tried a lot of different things with the
; feeding their schedule, waiting the 3-4 weeks to start feeding, not feeding till they looked like they needed it, on and on lol. To me, having to keep trying a bunch of different stuff to try to even get the system to work the way it's supposed to is unacceptable, though it makes sense considering how many extra things they sell to go along with their soils and why would anyone buy them if the soil worked as a stand alone product, ya know?
