New Grower 2budz “In over my head” grow

I think you probably hit the nail on the head. I’ve definitely learned a lot since those first autos. Starting when I was a teenager we’d grow plants on our farm in BFE Idaho and we’d get great harvests, just not great product. They love that sandy soil there. This experience with indoor autos has taught me a lot. We just fed outdoor plants whatever we had around at the time which never amounted to much now I’m ph’ing water and using beakers to measure out nutes. Definitely been a learning curve.
That's basically what I did. Then I got fed up with it and now I'm checking out organic. Just part of figuring out what works for you. None of us will ever do everything the exact same way, every one of us has different environments, lifestyles, and preferences. Sometimes a grow style will sound really attractive, but we find it doesn't work for us for whatever reason. Idk, I'm baked but I feel like that's the beautiful thing about growing, it really is a personal journey with a lot of lessons along the way.

Other than the slight curl on the tips of the leaves they’re doing great. Mango smile is really taking off.

Topping should keep them shorter but can be more work because you have to do a bit more training. You probably have the head room and all you might need to do is some pruning if you let them go. So depends on how much time you have to spend.

I haven’t grown an auto I haven’t topped yet so idk what to expect. Some say little better yields?

I'd say more even yields but in the end, you get out what you put in. Top half of them and use it as a learning experience.

I thought about that. I’m worried the height difference in the plants will hurt the shorter topped plants. Maybe not though would def be a good learning experience.

I would think it's only an issue if you plan on moving the light. Other than that, they will be all over each other anyways.
