New Grower 2budz “In over my head” grow

Plants are just cruising. The topped Hellraiser is officially taller than the RBF which I didn’t expect. The double grape cross is coming up on 100 days and not showing any signs of being done. She’s a really cool light green though and frosty so I’m excited to see what happens with her. The black strap and green crack in the .75 gallon pots are both over 20 inches and the biggest plants I’ve grown in those pots. They’re both very thirsty and neither of them like light it seems. The light is dimmed all the way and as high as it’ll go and they start drooping 4 hours before lights out like clockwork. Not worried about it cus they’re still rocking just odd as I’ve never had that issue before.

Check these plants out. I’ve probably grow 30 plants in these pots and these are by far the biggest. The only thing I did different was start watering them til runoff right away and lightly feeding them.

Tops of the 2 dark Jedi crosses weighed in at 54 grams. No stems or leaves. OCD trimmer. Not what I was hoping for but I think I’ll double that when I trim up the rest of the plants. Overdried these a bit but not to bad. Smell is sweet and grapes as I expected with some chem undertone. Very nice nose.

It’s always such a bummer when I go to trim plants and they’re airy and loose. As I’ve said before I don’t trim airy buds. So looks like I’m gonna have another 5-6 ounces for the shake bag. But this is pretty crazy:

Time for a new light in that tent. For sure. Been trying to give the light a fair shake but my experience has been the same for every plant I’ve harvested under that light. The only plants that have done well in there started flowering under different lights and finished in there.

Noticed the stalks were turning purple last week. Today I see some purple in her flowers. She’s frosting up really nicely and all her tops are putting on weight.

These ladies have surprised me. The topped one is taller than the RBF although she’s not as dense. The untopped one stayed pretty short and all her tops are even. Starting to frost up and put on weight. The untopped plant is the frostier of the 2 at this point. They are both turning purple as well. This time of year I like to sleep with my window open and temps can hit low 60’s. Definitely gonna make most plants get some purple in them. One thing I’ve noticed is these girls don’t need much food. They both have burned tips and none of my other plants do and they all get the same amount of food.

They’re 24 inches tall now. Black Strap is already getting color and in an ironic twist the green crack is turning purple as well. I have a deficiency I’m guessing is cal since they’re in coco loco. Lower leaves are turning yellow and it’s moving up. I’ll give them some calmag tomorrow when I water them. They’re doing great though and keep getting bigger. Taking up as much or more space than my 5 gallon plants did.
