are you suggesting that dutch passion have ripped off the jem and have
renamed it ?

i would love to see a side by side grow of dutch passions
auto mazar and the jem + a smoke test to see if there is any
difference
No Bro..I am Not...I am trying to put an END to ANY speculation.

just my opinion mate but unless some one does a side by side grow and a smoke
test we will never know for definate

ANY SPECULATION.

Because of JEM's chequered history of Rip-0ffs..mazar comes under suspicion..
But..
Dutch Passion in NOT one of the Two named.

SO...LETS PUT A STOP TO IT...NOW

Give me a few weeks to get all of them, I'll take one for the team and do a 3 way side by side with AFN, DP, and Flash...

Mines a Mazar cross too, a lot of the auto strains people describe as "fruity" are Mazar based.Mazars also turn purple towards the end of the grow. Here's a shot of the cured, final product. They're great tasting and yielding plants.

i hope mine turns purple though im not sure it will as i thought it would have started by now

:peace: pipez

DP stops by this website. I've had emails from them. So why don't they come clear it up.

Mossy JEM was the first auto mazar. So call it what you want, that's all we are saying. If you know breeding you wouldn't wan't to go back to LR to start your auto mazar. You want some thing close to the strain your working. Which is why i said yeah they could have BX to their own mazar with an already auto mazar. It makes no sense to breed with the one thing everyone is breeding away from.

People said the same thing when they brought out their non-auto autos.. They had to pull them to get re worked...

It happens..... period. It makes no difference anyhow, if anything i'd just like people to know what they are growing.

BTW. You can make fem seeds from plants grown out from a pack of regular seeds. They made fems because it's what is in demand over in europe. Most people don't want to select out males.

I wouldn't make your decision based on the fact they sell fems.. You can get fem auto mazar from flash too.. What mazar did they use?

Out of the millions of strains just so happens everyone is crawling over each other to get that auto mazar out?

I am not saying don't buy it.. By all means buy it grow it.. It'll be some dank! i know the lines.. I just want you to know what you are growing,

Hi everyone,

I thought it would be useful to give you some info on AutoMazar just so you all know. By the way, most of the time you will catch me on Seymour Bud’s new grow diary of the new Dutch Passion AutoFem strain (‘Think Different’).

Anyway, is AutoMazar a rip-off of Purple Jem? Or is Jem related to AutoMazar? The answer to both questions is “no”. Jem is a fine, independently created variety. The two strains may have some common features but they came about quite independently.

But for those looking to know more….. to create AutoMazar we used our own carefully selected Ruderlis/Indica mix and crossed it with the best Dutch Passion Mazar specimen we had ever seen. You have to look at this from the Dutch Passion perspective. We put a lot of effort into the original Mazar, and when you have a strain like that it makes sense to fully utilise it. Mazar was not an easy strain to initially retrieve from the Mazar-I-Sharif region of Afghanistan. I guess it would be even more difficult these days, imagine trying to make a tour of the region these days, you would need a special forces escort. Things were different in the old days of course.

*lights a joint, and reminisces nostalgically*

After that we continued an extensive selection process in order to obtain the premium AutoMazar genetics to give the best potency, yields and consistency that we could. The market for AutoFems is characterised by increasing levels of customer sophistication and knowledge, so this stuff is important to get right. Obviously we use some very experienced people that know exactly what they are looking for when creating and breeding new strains.

p.s. Dutch Passion we don’t have an issue with people taking our genetics and using them. Cannabis is a gift and people can do whatever they wish with the seeds. Some people openly use our genetics, all we ask is that they don’t copy the Dutch Passion product name. To stop people doing this we registered the names of our products. If people can take our seeds and do something positive with them then that is really OK with us !

I have to laugh a bit about, people trying to basically copyright or claim ownership of a particular strain of cannabis. You have all found out why the pharmaceutical industry has kept it illegal for the last century, "You cant own a plant." You do your work and you hope word of mouth and rep will guide people to buy your "original strain" vs the knock off.

The truth is most people don't care who grew it 1st or bred it out. They just want the best price for the genetics in question. It's part of the business you chose.People will always seek the best price if all other factors are equal. So the only way around this I can see is put out the best product at the best price.Seems you are doing that on the e-store here already, so in the long run as the saying goes "Build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door."
