Outdoor 2019 mid Michigan Growtogrow outside

DAMN GtG, things are looking awesome man. :headbang: It's beyond my comprehension how you can black those girls out though.
Hey Stedimed... [emoji482][emoji12]

Well bro it's like this.

I'm married to this. To the cage.

So Every day since the 14th of June I cover the cage with a sun blocking tarp. And only give the plants no more than 13 hours of sun light a day.
So Early in the mornings before the sun comes up. I'll go out and pull the tarp cover over the cage until 9am or if in the evening from 630pm until dark. Just as long as it's no more than the 12 to 13 hours of light.
I should have covered it this morning we're having a heatwave here and covering it in the evening it's going to be a little bit hot out there when I go to cover it. I should have done it this morning and saved all that heat stress.
But I couldn't sleep and woke up late 645am. The sun had already been up 40 minutes. Too late[emoji42]
But that's how I do it.

Some pics of the cage covered
And of the tarp laying in front of the cage.[emoji482]

Wow, that's impressive and well worth it obviously, lol but obviously a real bitch to. You got me thinking if I can get yard privacy fenced someday. So no light leaks at all? I still don't totally buy the tiny leak thing, since we have a lunar cycle, full moon the sun is reflecting off the moon like crazy. I'm with ya on the heat wave I'm south of ya. Remember us talking about fishing Tippy and the Betsy?

Thanks man I appreciate it for sure I really do[emoji482]
yes it is a bitch every fucking day just like milking cows every day LOL.
I was hoping to be automated this year so I could you know take a break but this injury and the lack of money having to fight my case and I shouldn't have to they should just do what they're supposed to do but they're fucking me over and my old lady's taking care of me right now financially until this litigation goes through . So it is what it is.
But I would have had all my stuff to do with automating this year. So I could step away and not have to deal with it... on and off everyday .... I can't leave it on there all night or very long. They have to breathe and it would cause a great deal of moisture and mildew and would be a nightmare soon. About 3 hours is about it with out air circulation. I think I'm going to put some fans out there today anyways it's about that time of year that I have to start worrying about more moisture and mold building up.

Oh yeah I remember talking about Tippy Dam the Betsie River I'd love to go up right now to just go out and spend the damn week up there goofing around in the river. But not able to do anything until October well at least the end of September anyways.
Maybe I'll be able to catch up on some salmon fishing this year.

But soon as I get this first harvest in I'll be good right after I get it cured and jarred or boxed. I'll have some free time for a little bit.

Yeah you don't have to worry about tiny holes you need to have at least 44 Looms of light in order to start affecting a plant. Some plants might be a touchless some might be a touch more. But that's about the line where you start it. So a little pin hole as long as that not beaming sunlight through and shining right on the plant with a bright light.
Then a little pin hole would be fine. My tarps got several holes in it but there's none that shine a bright light on the plants like that that.
There's leaks all over the place in my tarp though and I also lift the bottom of the tarp up a little bit.
especially like today I'll lift Corner up on one side and a corner up on the other side so get some air flow through there so when it's covered up for the 3 hours I don't have a great deal of moisture buildup in there.

Busy busy busy ! Looks amazing bud !
Thanks gro bro[emoji482]
Yes yes it seems the garden is never done.[emoji12]
It did try to rain here a bit ago. I had to run out and cover the cage because the grow is 5 weeks in flower. Well you know. It rained for 2 hours. Hard at first but not much at all. So back off the tarp comes. LoL My yard LoL

I salute your fortitude sir. :tang:
Well I've decided I'm not growing outside, ever, unless I get some freak plant 10 feet tall. The phlox have powdery mildew, the damn little beetles (still can't catch a photo of the things) have skeletonized most of my herbs, and the old dude Vietnam weed plant out in the old chicken coop has been hassled by everything from groundhogs to aphids to rainstorms and hail. Nope. Everyone is staying indoors.

Man it's not hard to grow a Big plant. That maybe the easy part.

But to grow a big tree of a plant that is all AAA bud.

Now something to trive for.

I'm trying to grow all AAA bud in this garden here. It's taking a lot so far.
Time, organic nutrition, and all my know how to get this far.
Keep your fingers crossed.
I still got 3 weeks to go [emoji54][emoji52]
A lot can go wrong yet.

Like bud rot [emoji35]

Harvested the non battle plant
Lemon Juice Express auto
and the OG Kush.

Found bud rot just starting[emoji52][emoji35]

Mixed up a strong batch of H2O2 and sprayed the plant where the rot was at and the whole plant.
Where the rot was at. I washed and pulled the buds apart and cleaned it all away. I found 5 spots total.
I caught it very early and was able to save almost all of it. With very little loss. [emoji106] H2O2 is a life saver.

What do you see in pic 7?
