Hey Smokey
Yes everyday I cover them. Either in the morning or at night. So that I'm only giving them sunlight of 12 to 13 hour's a day.
This is light deprivation techniques.
The same techniques that @dankstyleJ is using out in Oregon.
This allows us to have at least two crops during the summer months grown outside.
I could possibly run 3 if I had a better Greenhouse and was a bit more organized . Also if I was really organized I could run as many as 5 crops in the summer. But that would take a little more room than I got and a couple more greenhouses.
But having a area to grow green plants in veg. Then I can take them to 4 to 8 weeks in veg and then put them from 8 to 10 weeks in a flowering Greenhouse using a light deprivation. I could run and harvest a crop each month from April through September maybe even November depending on the season and how much heat I want to spend on the tail end or even in the beginning of a grow season.
Hey GTG
You would have a bit of twilight there in summer? Summer here 12hrs would be about how much direct sun i can get, winter is 6-7
Light deprivation is good then, great to fit in more grows during summer. Light deprivation is good at flowering stage?
