Outdoor 2019 mid Michigan Growtogrow outside

Looking fantastic GtG. So far I'm staving off the powdery mildew, the air circulation this year is helping. If we'd have gone 90 degrees and no breeze we'd be in deep right now. Sprayed mine down with BT to fight off the damn little black beetles, so far so good. You're going to have a great stash for the winter.
Thanks Al[emoji482]
What kind of little black bettle?
Send me a pic of it.

Will do. They are microscopically small but they devour my thyme and various herbs. They go for the aromatics. I'll see if I can get a shot and show the damage. Been dealing with them for years in the regular gardens.
Yeah give me a pic of those damn bugs..
I've been fighting them a long time. It might be something I've had to deal with already? and if not I may have to deal with it some day. Well I'll researched it and figure out how to eradicate them

GTG mate so you cover them up for bed?, looks lovely and cosy for them:d5:
Hey Smokey[emoji482]
Yes everyday I cover them. Either in the morning or at night. So that I'm only giving them sunlight of 12 to 13 hour's a day.

This is light deprivation techniques.
The same techniques that @dankstyleJ is using out in Oregon.

This allows us to have at least two crops during the summer months grown outside.
I could possibly run 3 if I had a better Greenhouse and was a bit more organized . Also if I was really organized I could run as many as 5 crops in the summer. But that would take a little more room than I got and a couple more greenhouses.[emoji482]
But having a area to grow green plants in veg. Then I can take them to 4 to 8 weeks in veg and then put them from 8 to 10 weeks in a flowering Greenhouse using a light deprivation. I could run and harvest a crop each month from April through September maybe even November depending on the season and how much heat I want to spend on the tail end or even in the beginning of a grow season.[emoji482]
