Mephisto Genetics 2019 Artisanal Communal Test Thread!

Great thread !! Thanks everybody :smokeout: :greenthumb:

Here is my mixed bag of results... lol... all I have to say is the fungus gnats are for real !! You dirt farmers didn't warn me enough about this :backside: hahaha just kidding guys the real story is l figured I could store bags of dirt in my attic for long(ish) periods of time without issue... well some hard lessons learned and I will always obtain fresh dirt for planting moving forward !! lol I have no desire to subject my beautiful ladies to their abuse again... I am certain that my battle with them :amazon: is the cause of the results you see below. The good news is the little fuckers now seem to be eradicated and plant growth has responded in kind...

I don't like bugs and won't touch soil because of them. And I am going to a different place to get my Coco now, because I saw how they stored it. Bugs are no joke, and you are not the first person to store extra soil and be burned. They could have been in the bag the whole time multiplying. Glad you got rid of them. Remember, be diligent and throw away that extra soil. Good luck

Likewise the gnats are for real rn. Not sure if i can attribute any outward signs to them...but do notice their presence i will look into gnatol...so its a silver bullet as long as there not coming from nearby outside source?plants are trucking along looking on par time/size wise for me. All need more Mg and is being addressed still dialing in my setup. Ms looks like a crouching tiger ready to pounce at day33. Hoping the extra toppings pay dividends but slightly worried i got carried away. Not sure time will tell she has many many tops but there has to be a point where the branches are too small to hold the weight if you top too much. Its all an experiment i really dont know what im doing...just had good luck in the past and want to see how far i can push it. I upped her mc from 1g/g to 2g/g plus 2ml calmag makes 470ppm. Not sure how shes handling it yet. Growth is increased but poss not liking the extra N?leaf tucking and removed a few big fans up top untuckable blocking multiple tops.

Soh next pics after ms at 27days and is the most N sensitive strain ive done. I cant even give her 1/2g/g mc without her clawing still. Maybee the homemade ewc i ammended with were a bit hot? Shes in black gold potting soil with extra perlite. Its only a .05-0-0 charge out of the bag says its good for 2 waterings. Shes touch n go nute wise will be implementing cal mag waterings inbetween feeds.

Hbh is 19 days pp is 18. Sexed at 16-17 days. Taking 1g/g 2ml calmag 330ppm and respoding well to their nute increases lately. Growing out of their less than ideal starts anyway. Hbh was topped i think pp will go buck natural. Not too much else last pic is a bonus AvT at 19 days doing well sexed at 14 days and im very pleased with her im glad i strategically put an easy goer with this batch.

Looks close together to me.

Funny I was just looking at a pic and noticed the same. Gonna have to move her off to the side more.

Good Call .... sometimes I don’t notice the canoeing until I look at the pics and say, hey I gotta move the light and sure enough she grew faster than I thought and up goes the light.

They may be. I might not even use the autocob. There just centered in the frame for now once i get it cranking ill take some calculations with a lux meter app on my phone and convert to DLI to see if things need tweaking. Its a hodge podge bay i threw together out of scrap wood to make framework to hang the lighting. Ideally i was going to upgrade to a 4x4vbut moneys a bit tight atm for a tent/extraction so i made due with what i had. I need a bumper harvest this run! Not worried about smells over in my neck of the woods

I got 5 of the NCH seeds in my fridge. Looking good, give us the harvest and smoke report when she's done.

Verbal update only til Thursday. I just moved and added more wires to my Crate Training plant Mango Smile [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]. This is my GOTY entry, so I am going to tie her down to expose more budsites. However, later in flower I will need support wires from the ceiling. These plants have potential to get really big . My Pink Panama [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG], is untrained. I took it out tonight and it is 4ft tall and beautiful. The Pink Panama#1 has been trained. She is stretching and I am going to let her grow as is. She has good shape now and I will just adjust minor things if needed. Same with Hubbabubba Haze#1.

Mango Smile [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is going to get some more S&M bondage tomorrow, she is a monster. They are preflowering hard, but I can tell Mango Smile is going to be amazing just by the growth. The Super Orange Haze plants are in the 4x4 with some Sour Cracks. They are staying small and the one is budding. The other is starting, but is recovering from the N tox. I will run that strain again just to see if I can dial it in better. It is by far the smallest and most sensitive of the 4 Strains. For anyone interested in these, make room for large plants. Mine are in 3 Quart pots. But 4 plants will take up a 4x8 tent. You guys are gonna be surprised Thursday. Good job and good luck everyone, peace slowandeasy
