... yes, Beastie is synthetic, meaning salt based,... a lots of confusion about this! -- A salt is a general chemistry term for any ionic compound that's made up of two groups of oppositely charged ions. The ion with a positive charge is called a cation, and the one with a negative charge is called an anion,... table salt for example: Na+ and Cl-, as a solid (crystal), are combined forming an electrically neutral molecule; in water, it dissolves into it's ionic components,...
So, no, you don't have to actually flush unless you've feed heavily and have symptoms to show it,... Usually a cleanse period is wise though, meaning a week or so prior to harvest of nothing but water,... since you've been organic most of the way (no need for any flush or cleanse with organics, so many claim! this is hotly contested,... some do anyway, others don't and say it's pointless)... so for you, play it safe and do water only for several days before estimated harvest time....

I wish I would've paid more attention in chemistry. But that clears up some things for me I was listening to a podcast and they kept talking about cation and anion and never went into detail.
Will definitely go ahead and do just water as I get close to harvest!
