2 plants one stunted growth and now burnt leaves.

:d5: good to hear mate!... and you're welcome,...:pass: :slap:

So I called four different hydroponic stores and it seems like they all have the same supplier. One guy I talked to said he was just the owner and didn't know anything about the different nutrients. No one had the roots hpk or biothrive.
If I do find the grow more sea grow what dilution would i use? I do have a couple gardening stores I can call.

Also I guess I'm kind of confused why fox farm would have big bloom and tiger bloom, I guess just so they have one bloom nutrient that was organic?

Once again I really appreciate all the help.

You must have some really shitty grow stores sounds like they cater to ma and pa that want to grow tomatoes or orchids. You would think the owner would have a clue about the product he carries so they can give proper advice. The 2 grow shops we have here cater to marijuana growers and then the common house plant/veggie garden growers then again it is a legal state even before that it was that way. I remember going to the store for the first time and I was going to use Tang's guide and the guy there told me that AN will run you twice the price of this and he handed me a medi grow starter pack and have not looked back he even explained how to read the NPK and what to look for and what it meant I made a friend and picked his brain everyday so much people thought I worked there. I was just reading up on the Beastie Bloom(saw where you discussed it already. because I remember using it years ago with my photo period plants. I used to mix it up ( more than you need it was for 30 plants) but I used to pour the top off and leave the salts in the containe(it was how I was taught don't know if it is right or wrong but it makes sense and I was amazed how much salt was there. Sounds like you have some awesome help and I learned more also! They look good now and you now have experienced the power of asking questions and getting some VERY valuable information.:slap:

View attachment 690757 View attachment 690758 View attachment 690759 View attachment 690760 I have three plants going two are the same age, the one on the right is Mephisto white crack and the one on the left is Tyrone Special. Middle is a bagseed.
Anyways the two on the outside are the same age, 37 from sprout.
I noticed today I've got some burnt areas on one leaf, I'm assuming nute burn. I'm not sure though.
I'm doing a no till/organic grow.
I topped dressed with EWC and alfalfa meal. As I do every watering.
I watered yesterday with 1 gallon distilled water, molasses, coconut water with aloe vera juice, and pottasium silicate.
The only new addition that the plants haven't had is the coconut water with aloe.

Previous watering 7 days ago with distilled water, Liquid seaweed, fish emulsion, sea salt.

On the healthier plant I did notice some burnt tips on newer growth. As I'm writing this I'm thinking the problem is probably the alfalfa meal. Maybe too much nitrogen? If this is the case what should I do? I don't water to run off. If need be i obviously can but I may remove too many goodies from my soil.

Edit: I'm growing in compost, ewc, peat, perlite mix. Also have about 9 worms in each pot. I do not check ph every time, I just found distilled water with 6.5ph that I buy. Temperatures range from 75 to 82 and humidity is between 45-55.

Edit 2: I'm leaning towards potassium defiency now. Anyone have a good remedy for an organic grow, preferably something I could get at any garden store or Amazon. Also that's assuming I've diagnosed it properly.

Wtf!? Who shot the president..? Why on earth would you feed your plant sea salt ? I think you want epson salts which is a different bag of fish lol, Apart from the tiny bit of burn they look lush

I gave it sea salt because I made the mistake of getting on Reddit haha.
From what I read if you give them distilled water it strips the soil of nutrients so by adding a very small amount of sea salt you introduce minerals to the water. Idk but I'm just using standard purified water now.
Yeah they are doing pretty well, short but well.

I found another shop that was much, much better. They didn't carry everything I need but they can get pretty much everything in less than a week. So I can get some good soil with no shipping costs!

Good to know about the salts in beastie! I will definitely pour the top and leave the bottom in the container!

You know distilled water isnt very good, it takes everything out and drinking too much can actually give you brain damage or worst, since your organic make more sense to just feed it wee lol, get a brita filter.

Yes very full bodied

Your welcome bud.Unless they changed the formula it will have a good amount in there. I remember using another product they had it was cha ching it is for late in the flowering cycle and it promotes oils and resins.

I don't drink that shit it's disgusting. Haha, tastes like ozone. Maybe I'll get a filter but for now I pay 69 cents per gallon of purified water.

Tee, true, actual sea salt does have trace (meaning ultra minute) metals/minerals in it, but it's still mostly NaCl... if you're using RO/Di, spring/drinking water, they will all be low-to-no ppm's mineral hardness, meaning Calcium carbonate content,... it's the carbonates that are involved with pH buffering, free Ca++ is what the plants wants nutrient-wise,... So, this is what the right Ca-mg supplement is good for! General Organics CaMg+ is the ticket for you, all carbonate based, and in a fermented organic sugar base; it'll restore some minerals back to the water, and help with pH buffering,... The purified water, is that from a grocery store self-fill machine? That's a great way to go!

Appreciate the info!
So at a local health food store I can fill bottles with alkaline water(9.8ph), deionized, or R/O water and it's cheap as hell!
So with the beastie bloomz I'm using, that's salt based correct? If so then I will definitely need to flush the soil?
Also if you have nitrogen toxicity and the leaves are clawing, when that toxicity is fixed will the leaves perk back up or stay clawed?
They are still clawed quite a bit on one of my plants.

So I've got my second grow lined up, I have about 2 weeks until harvest for Tyrone.
I'm going with nectar for the gods, got a free sample pack from their website, and roots original soil.
