Well bud... no worries you're doing it just right from what I'm hearing! I will warn you if you like smoking the old fashion way then stick with that. Once I started concentrates I couldnt go back lol. I know some people like my neighbor who smoke either. I can't burning bud taste like an ashtray to me now, and so much harsher. I'm spoiled with rosin, the bho I just like making it to be honest hahaha. I love the process, and what you can create. I dont do it a lot, best with fresh frozen after a harvest. This is the 1st time in like 2yrs I've made any. Just got the urge to make some. Something I could see myself doing when rec comes my way. I need to do some more ice water hash, but my bags aren't high quality so end result isnt stellar. I need a freeze dryer to really step my game up as the kids say. Looking at like $2400.00 for a new lower end 1, so gonna be a while till I can float that. Someday it will happen, and then I'll be smiling like a butcher's dog! Stay lifted.

Shaping fire has a youtube video where they show using a Buchner funnel. They put wet hash in and leave it at vacuum with a piece of foil on top. they ran it for 6 or 8 hours I think, maybe more. They said doing this you could smoke it the next day. Next time I make hash I will try it.

When I do hash next I will grab some bubble bowls. You can put them on top of a 5-7 gal bucket, and cut a few holes in the bucket. Then place a wet/dry vac into the 1 hole(the others are smaller for air flow)turn on vac and suck water through. This make the process much faster. There're videos on YouTube, and bubble bowls site. This was 1 of my issues, the final 2 bags took forever to drain. The last never did sat for 24hrs, and still most remained. Kinda the same process just amped up a bit lol. This is how I will try when I get back to that. Worked great took only minutes to finish, and I'm all about that.

Now down to business lol. I'm gearing up for my test for HLG, and these are to 2 I will be growing. I need to decide which will go under the 100 Rspec. It only has a 2'x2' flower footprint, and my tent is 4'x2' so I will need to use 1 of my autocobs alongside it for 2 ladies. I'm leaning towards the Zamaldelica, but I've been waiting on this Blueberry since I saw it. I will dab the Zamaldelica more on a daily basis so I'd prefer the better light on the sativa, but blueberry is special. I got a few days to come to a conclusion tho. I should be starting tonight.

The GC is still in the vac chamber, but I can smell her funkiness. Must have been the EC because this stuff is doing much better???

Not as much, but I had about half of the material so that's expected. It is about quality not quantity so I'm good. The GC is a true hybrid as I have had. It gives a shot of energy, but about 1hr-1.5hr later I'm ready for a nap. I cant wait to try this live resin, its getting quite hard like shatter. I have had it on the heat mat at very low temp (80°f) this time. From what I've read to make shatter it should be around 110°f so not sure if it will get to that consistency. Nice when you can handle it versus it being goo. I'm going to use tags from this grow on my next. If anyone doesn't want to be tagged just let me know no worries. Till the next time stay lifted.

The one time I pressed green crack straight of the press it was basically shatter it peeled off and was flakes in the container. Never even stuck together.
I wish all mine would come out that way

That's a little different than Shatter, I've had that a bunch. That comes from a few different things. If it's very old it can do that, if you press for to long, and or hot that can happen. I hate when it turns to dust tho, I end up losing to much collecting. Then I find it in my goatee later that night lol. Its lead to some cool pics, but a pain to deal with. Bho shatter is bigger peices that break like glass kinda.

I just don't like sticky, and shatter I had bought some a few times before I started smashing my own generally is to much for my bad hands and I end up flipping it someplace. I have a chi mix and anything that hits the floor or couch he thinks is his. I have a window where I sit and with winter coming on I will put some things outside but inside the screen so it is not so sticky. I am cold loading e-rig or pens so sticky is a challenge. I have some FB strawberry banana which is real frosty coming up and some night owl galaxy brain as well I will smash some of each. You are right that the green crack was not fresh but was not ancient. I am not going the BHO route because I have to much on my plate already. Not scared of butane (but respect it) playing with it plenty but just afraid of another ray in my life.

There are some nice ass e-rigs out there! The 1 I like is or was $160, I cant spent that much tho. I have 3 bongs/rigs and a small recycler that I use 9/10 times. I have a very nice dab thing lol. It's not a pen, but its hand held. I am blanking on what they're called. Atomizer that's it a Sequoia from Humboldt vape tech. It's like taking a real dab, I actually connect it to my 1 bong and recycler to it and use that sometimes. I have a black ceramic and a quartz coil for it. The ceramic give good flavor if rosin has good taste. I have a pen but it sucks lol. I'll take a pic later when I go down. I cant hit it with out a rig tho. It's to hot and just cough up a lung. I want that Strawberry banana too. They didnt have it when I got the blueberry, or else I would have grabbed it to. Yeah goo is just a mess I like to be able to pick it up, and drop in too I know exactly what you me. I made some rosin into shatter all you need it heat. I did it on accident and then saw a video on how to do it. I was just trying to melt it down into a silicone container. It came out shatter. I got some pics that still may be in my phone I'll look. I'll post that video if I can find it too, may help you out.

I think I might have saw that video as well, now that you mention it. I will look in my history. I just got a Source Versa and there was a coupon for 35% off so it was $110 with free shipping and it works perfectly. They also have a source bolt that goes on a water pipe that is $65 with the coupon. The pens had me coughing up a lung as well. I have one that is the exact same as the sequoia but it is way to big a hit for me. But if I get some new glassware it might work. It is sitting in the drawer. That is why I switched. I wanted to get a bolt and a triple filtered Scientific inhalation bubbler but out of my budget right now. There is a guy on youtube called the Senior Stoner and he reviews a lot of the rigs and does the dab of the day. He is much better than the other professional young guy reviewers if you know what I mean. I think his main criteria is he does not like to cough.

I did this accidentally with my heater. I was just trying to get it all to melt down off the sides and forgot about it. When I remembered it was just liquid and then I realized it was like shatter.

It was nice to work with for sure. Give it a try worth a shot. I haven't made it since and only that 1 time. I also made isolate before I knew what it was, but dont have any pics. It was when I 1st started to make rosin. I press some Ripley's OG real low like 180°f for like 5 mins. I got these what looked like little crack rocks I could handle. I had zero idea what i had done until a yr+ later. Again only made it that 1 time and was a total accident. It was really cool and most likely couldnt do it again. I absolutely love making all of these concentrates whether on purpose, or accident. The more I mess up the more I learn. Believe me messing up is my business... and business is good! Stay lifted.
