New Grower 1st TIME DWC/SCROG - BUDDHA MAGNUM

Hi Indianajones,

I would look at keeping the light out of your bucket. I do this with thick black polyethene. Cut a hole in the middle of a sheet that covers your bucket lid about 1.5 inch in diameter then a slit from the hole to the edge so you can slip it over the plant. This will help prevent algae growth in your water.

Regards cain1.

PS I would not get to worked up over low humidity the plant will sill grow ok. Maybe plant will just drink bit more. Also look to lower res temps if possible.

Good tipp! I had a scary low humidity too in the first couple of weeks, didnt hurt my plants tho.

Great setup Indy :)

You mentioned comparing grows, no way mate, you have a 600W HPS and i have a 200W LED that can't compare ;+}

I've always grown in low-humidity during veg without problems but i plan t buy a humidifier soon to see if it makes a difference, i know they love the humidity in veg so we'll see.

all the best,

steely

You know what?! That is totally my bad. I must not have noticed what type of light you were using lol. I'm going to get my light raised up now and lower the res temp on this lady. Thanks for all the advice guys!

Day 18 Update:

I apologize peoples I left my camera in my brothers car over this past weekend. He lives about 30 minutes from me so as one could imagine, I've been procrastinating on going to get it. Anywho.......Tashonda is doing EXTREMELY well! Of the few grows I've done before, this one here is the best yet. The amount of growth on her is stunning in my opinion.

I did the last res change for her veg cycle last night. I pushed her ppms to (are you ready) 1000ppm and her ph is holding steady at 6.0. Checked on her this morning and shes taking it well so far. I noticed as she grows, so does the rh in the room, this is a good thing for now. Another wicked point to make is her smell.....thats right.....this little lady already has a tinge of sweetness that smacks me in the face as soon as I open the tent! I love this plant.

I am FINALLY building the SCROG net and will post pics of it and Tashonda here later on tonight....hopefully! Any advice or comments feel free to leave them below! Bless.....

Day 26 Update:

Been really busy lately and just got my cam back from my brother. Here she is! I feel like shes taking her sweet time actually stretching like I know she's going to.....then I remember shes only 26 days. Did another res change today and upped her ppm to 1200. She got her last dose of Rhizotonic today as well to help boost the roots one more time.

Any thoughts or ideas on anything? Happy growing people! Bless....

Long time no see guys! Hope all is well with everyone! Well, here I am almost 3 months in with this little lady and I'm not sure when she'll be done. As you can see I didn't do as well as I could have at laying her down when I started the SCROG. But, hey it was my first time lol! Either way I've already impressed myself with her. Any advice on when ya'll think she will be done?20150319_070716[1].jpg
