I keep a couple spare 5 gallon buckets. I put the plant in an empty one for a few minutes while I do a quick cleanup on the regular bucket.

Well I’m glad I could help with the calmag. She looks better. I’ve seen it on dwc all over the web about day 30 or thereabouts. Sometimes I just walk over to the buckets and pour it straight in :crying:

The rest of the grow will be like clockwork. She’s gonna turn into a monster now!

What are you feeding her & how much? She looks good...I've been fighting what looks to be calmag issues. She's now getting 5ml/ga as opposed to 3ml so I'm hoping that does the trick. I didn't install a drain so i have to take my netpot out to drain. I have a fluid transfer pump but im afraid of sucking up the roots...
I figured the roots wont mind 10 mins in another bucket while i change out the reservoir. I am noticing that the bigger the roots get the higher res temps are reaching...only a few degrees to 74 but that's what the Hydroguard is for. Anyway, there's some dark areas where the roots are most dense...dunno if that's normal or not.

Yea i keep a spare bucket just for that reason. That's funny u mention adding the calmag straight to the res...i was debating doing it but i heard it's not good to add straight in without diluting it first. Obviously it works for you so i guess I'll give it a try

No! I was kidding about straight to the reservoir, although my calmagoholics would probably love it LOL. After their calmag foliar spray! :crying:

I feed her 2.5 ml per gallon calmag and 275ppm megacrop. Ph kept between 5.9 and 6.2.
You have a level column of blue tubing, rotate it 90+ degrees and bam there is your drain line from the bottom of the bucket.i know I don’t want to be lifting this girl out as her roots are tangled in the aeration line. I’m fact she has never been removed.

Same here. I have two plants sharing a bucket, and as time passes their roots eventually intertwine, I would lift them out as seedlings, just for curiousity, but can't even think of it in flowering. I have a few empty ports in my reservoir, since I only use two, and I have a small water pump to empty the reservoir each week.

 i don't know anything about megacrop but 275 doesn't seem to be very much...even at 4 weeks? What light is she under?
