Day 41...ok so i solved my dwc issue. My PH was off by .8 so when i thought i was at 5.8 it was actually 6.6! That explains the deficiencies & since i recalibrated its been doing much better. PH is steady & she's on a 750ppm feed. I'll take more root pics when i have an extra hand to help. The roots have taken over the bucket & tangled herself in both air lines. Walter White in coco is budding nicely. She drinks nearly a gallon every 30 hours at 950ppm...thinking maybe that's the sweet spot.
Anyway the Samsquanch is finally taking off. After a couple of slow weeks at the bottom of the tent i raised her atop an empty airpot to get her closer to the light. She's already showing sex...her lil hairs are out way early...wtf?!?

Day 44...got a 2nd tent!!! I ran outta room so my girl graciously allowed me another 2×4. So I added the 3 Samsquanch to the new tent along with a clone from a photo plant my buddy is breeding...DreamQueen. the light is a loaner til the quantum boards are back in stock
I added a lil root porn...
Some bud sites...

Day 50...DWC is no freaking joke!! This plant is a beast...grows an inch & drinks a gallon each day. Surprisingly she's stuck in preflower. I stressed her due to some PH calibration problems. She's super branchy but her lil hairs aren't yielding any flower yet. I debated changing light schedule to induce, but I'm trying to avoid confusing the budding plant in an attempt to fix the other...any thoughts?? Also, i got a dehumidifier cuz we've had lots of rain here in Cali & RH levels are close to 80%. The mini unit cant keep up so I'm crossingmy fingers no mold develops. Here are the Samsquanch trios...a week apart but the eldest is blowin up under the COBs

She’s a fucking monster. Congratulations!

My advice is leave her alone. She’ll flower when she’s ready and not a moment before. I did all manner of fucking with the lights and she did what she wanted on her own time. Granted she’s 122 days old right now, but that big and she’ll flower forever anyway, 10 weeks right?

What do you mean by 10 weeks?... When I got home tonight she was growing thru the gap in the light fixture & is now 33" tall...almost as wide! Do you think I should trim some lower fan leaves & thin her out a bit, or would i be doing more harm while she's still in transition?

If it was me I’d thin her out before she heads full on into flower. Take anything that blocks light from a potential bud site. Never take more than a third of the leaves.

My advice is to let her flower on her own — I think she’s a slow auto. Others will tell you to put her on a 12/12 schedule, assuming she is a photoperiod. You need to decide which is right — I’m almost as new to this as you.

Here is GG at day 59 — this is where I put the lights to 12/12.

2 weeks later she was flowering in earnest, then I discovered that I messed up setting the timer and the lights were at 24/0 the whole time.

This is GGs 10th week in flower and her trichomes are mostly — clear. Still. I’m going to cut her down soon.

I believe you are 100% right...she's just slow! I got home from work & the plant has grown another 2" since last night. I'm seeing more hairs so she's definitely on her way. My only concern is height. If she's 36" leaving veg I'm thinking she'll gain at least another foot...guess a filter/fan isn't gonna work if that's the case but that's a different problem for another day.

I’m a big fan of supercropping for height control. Now is the perfect time — while they are still stretching.

Ok I'll give it a try. I'm gonna have to watch a YouTube video or two & see how it's done

Pick a portion of an internode space about six inches below desired plant height. Gently squeeze about an inch span of stem between your fingers until the stem becomes soft. Use a gentle rocking motion. When it’s soft, use paraffin tape to mend any splits. Then lay the supercropped portion over the desired area of the canopy.
