New Grower 1st Indoor Grow-Hillbilly Rigged Setup

The 2 headed RocBud-Purple Kong moved on to the next stage in life today! It was ambering nicely so I chopped it on day 78. Nice and sticky and super pungent! Good solid buds. The smaller one that started out funky still is healthy and has a ways to go even though they popped at the same time.

now begins the drying journey. Letting it hang in the closet overnight and leaving the lights off. Movingly to a big walk in, crawl space (oxymoron:biggrin:) tomorrow so I can get the lights back on for my my other 2. Temps should be around 60 degrees and the humidity is around 60 also at this point. I’ll have a fan for indirect circulation. Anyone think I’m asking for trouble with that setup?

Nice work man and I think you'll be ok in drying. My current dry is a whole plant in a drying cardboard box and running at 61rH and 69*F

Thanks Bill. Hoping for a nice slow cool dry.

So far on day 10 of the dry the stems are still flexible. That's kind of dry I like!

Kong has moved to the walk-in crawl space to dry. Will have to keep a close eye on the humidity. Want that slow cure but afraid I might run into a mold issue with the cool temps plus the humidity. :yoinks:

Spent 9 days hanging in the crawl space. Has worked out well but the humidity is now hovering in the 70% range, temps have been 57-60. Worried that I’ll run into issues with the RH that high so I’m finishing the dry in paper bags in the utility closet.
I really like how drying in cool temps with higher humidity works. Still sticky and super pungent! Dried and tested a bit of the smaller bud. Already tastes pretty nice for not being cured and potency is on point!

:clapper: Banged out another winner :clapper:

Seems like that grow space is working out fine, your plants have all looked really good. Without a doubt you have the cleanest, tidiest crawlspace I've ever seen lol.

Thank you! Just have to adapt and adjust, mixing in as much natural sun light as possible saves them from the subpar conditions.

2 headed Purple Kong is dry trimmed and curing (of course I had to keep some testers out!) Ended up with a total 29 grams.
