Indoor 1ST GROW!! (not autos) SO happy!

Not even kidding I am the tail-end of that generation of kids that mowed lawns and collected bottles n stuff for money. . .. I watched as grown men with pickup trucks and 2 or 3 mowers were gobbling up all the yard work, doing a whole block of yards in less time than we'd do one----and way better  Hey man, kids don't care about nice yards, they care about doing chores quickly & getting paid!

Switched over to full nutrients today. Previously I was using the "Growweedeasy" schedule which is half strength, all has been well so I decided to step things up to the manufacturer's recommended schedule. Hoping to get a lil faster progress in vegging, but if I get burnt leaf tips I know to just dial back down to the previous schedule.

All is going super smoothly, and I LOVE having the radio playing classical music in the grow space, so chill to go in and water. Switching to a small battery powered one soon.

Looking good Skelly, best of luck on the grow. I'll definitely be watching this thread.

Are you planning and sticking any autos in the tent with them in future? I'm toying with the idea once my current autos are finished as I've never grown a photo. I hear they are a lot more forgiving and you can do more training due to being able to flip it to flowering when you want as opposed to the predetermined autos.

I'd love to play music up there but my kid will think the monster in the attic (need to keep him out of there somehow) has a penchant for Mozart or Bach!

Thanks Frankly! Actually I intend to plant autos as my next run, probably will stick with doing 3 plants until I figure out how to manage more and get more/better lighting. Later on, once my skills are sharp, I'd love to toy with the idea of mixing photos and autos, so I can harvest bud while I wait like 30+ days for the photos to finish, instead of waiting to do a whole new run.

As far as the music, I have it baaaarely audible under the buzz of the fans, I can't hear it very well until I unzip the tent, and it makes for such a peaceful watering time. An old buddy who used to let me helpo him harvest, employed this in his grow spaces, and I always enjoyed it & have heard many times that it's marginally beneficial to plants, but as stated it just makes the atmosphere so peaceful to be in for a few moments a day.

Progress :weed: super happy with how they're progressing. The Fruit Tree in the very back was super stunted when I first got her home, but she's catching up. The big girl in the front has been surpassed by the "middle child" who is now the A student. I might have been too hasty with the LST, but I'm enjoying my time with them, being gentle and have only topped one plant one time, other than that I just pluck any leaf that's blocking a developing node sight. Even this small, I'm grabbing almost a handful of leaves every couple days!!

LMAO I TOTALLY FUCKED UP :wall: Apparently I can't do simple math, and I've had my lights on 16/8instead of 18/6. Oh well, probably helped my energy bill for a bit, LOL. Reassessed my maths, switched the timer and we're good to go. I probably missed out on some growth, but I bet my roots are solid :doh:

HELL YES, got my TSW 2000 installed last night! DAMN it gets the tent pretty hot (peaked at 91 degrees, yikes) so I'm going to install the drivers outside the tent and that should shave off a good 5-10 degrees i hope. Dimmed the light to light 80% in the meantime. Even with the increased heat, the plants are responding VERY well to the boost temperature and light :headbang: I think I'm gona go ahead and flip em to flower this weekend or next, because I have some seeds inbound that I cannot wait to start!

@MarshydroTina you have sold me on those FC series lights, I 100% most definitely will be upgrading to one of those, but this setup is very solid in the meantime

Finally got the drivers and the dimmer switch installed on the wall outside the tent with this crazy heat wave we're having, I'm hoping this will keep temps in the mid to low 80s. It's been averaging 88° and i need that much lower come time for flowering.

There's a damn heat wave here too! It was 104*F just before a storm raced through, rained hard and a bit of hail to top it off. First rain in three damn weeks!

I did the same with my driver and exhaust fan.
