Fast Buds 1st Grow: FastBuds' Grapefruit!

Here's the pic for today, DAY 12!

The yellowish on the picture is not representative of the actual colour of the plant. When removed from under the lights, she is green :)
I fed her again by the way, following the advice of The Elvis by giving her about 1/3L of water (including about 0.3mL of both Sensi Bloom A and B as well as CalMag) per day for now. I started to weigh the pot (which I should have started doing earlier I guess) so that I can tell when it needs watering/feeding.
Peace,
Hey I used those nutes on my first grow on autos n use the veg nute till she stops stretching then hit with sensitive bloom trust u will limit the auto from growing

Hey guys,
Thanks for your messages!
She seems to be doing better today. She was probably just getting hungry I guess! In need of N too as you guys suggested.
By the way, I am using Sensi Bloom A and B for veg because I am following TaNg's schedule, which had been recommended to me. There:
https://www.autoflower.org/threads/tangs-easy-auto-feeding-schedule.47290/
There is apparently more N (and in fact also more P and K) in Sensi Bloom than in Sensi Grow... (Sensi Grow Part A has a NPK of 2-0-0 while Sensi Bloom Part A has a NPK of 3-0-0; Sensi Grow Part B has a NPK of 1-2-6 while Sensi Bloom Part B has a N-P-K of 2-4-8). As bloom nutes are stronger than veg nutes and as I am giving less nutes than the advertised dosage I should be alright, shouldn't I?! :)
I will post an update with a pic later during the day.
Peace
Hey, sorry bro hadn't seen this feeding schedule before, hopefully it works out for you... Personally I would of still gone with the separate grow and bloom since the grow nutes are obviously specifically developed for the veg phase. Your plant is looking good though, size is right on point for its age. The bit of leaf curl could just be from some heat stress, running an HPS in a small cabinet won't be easy... an LED would of been the best way to go, so maybe a good future upgrade for you at some point. ;)

Thanks guys!
Yes Hansbricks you are right, the heat is a bit of an issue with an HPS in a small cab.. For now the upper and lower doors are still open so that temperature sticks around 23-26 Celsius degrees, with humidity at about 50% (I bought a humidifier that I placed outside the cabinet about a meter away, in the small room where the cabinet is located, as well as a fan, that I placed inside the cabinet).
The issue will be when she will start to stink!!!! Hopefully the grapefruit smell won't be too reminiscent of weed smell..!!
So I'll have to have the doors closed by then, and the issue is that when doors are closed, temperature rises to 30 degrees within half an hour...
I have an AC that I could potentially use and place in the small room where the cabinet is located, hoping that it will help contain the heat.
Any suggestion will be appreciated! Although not an urgent problem, I'd better anticipate if I don't want to get busted because of smell, or to kill my plant because of heat..!!
Anyways, here are the updated pics for today, at DAY 13!

:thanks:

It might seem silly but I've just noticed that she turns around while growing and developing. She's done 1/8 of a turn in 2 days. Anyone ever noticed that before?

sensi bloom is ok for vegg.. id still get some silica in there.. Frank why are they so low in the pot? did your soil settle?
Hey Elvis, thanks for passing by! I am about to order Rino Skin for silica and will also get Voodoo Juice while I'm at it.
I did something stupid when I filled the pot - as I started this girl 2 weeks earlier than the 2 others (that are still germinating), so I thought that by putting less soil for the first plant, I'd manage to have them all at the same height by putting more soil in the 2 other pots. What I didn't realise at the time was that the plant was going to grow horizontally more so than vertically in the first weeks... I'd definitely put more soil for the next to come.
By the way I am starting to wonder whether I should grow 3 or just 2 plants at the same time. I was initially looking at 4 plants (the cabinet is supposed to be able to host 4 or 9 pots depending on the pots' size - 4 18L pots or 9 6L pots), but it was way too ambitious for a first grow. I think I can handle 2 or 3 at the same time though, giving them plenty of my time and effort.

can you afford a cooltube housing for your light? that and an inline fan with variable speed control will help get the temps dialed in
Hey Elsamurai! Thanks for your comment :)
I have heard that plants, when growing up and flowering, absorb more light than they do when they are still young, and therefore help reduce heat in the cabinet. So if I put say 3 plants in there, would that help reduce heat even more? With the humidifier near the cabinet, temperature has gone down to around 22-23 degrees, and humidity has risen up to 70 percent!
I have the Honeywell turbo fan in the cabinet, but I sometimes turn it down because I think it might make the air drier and I am not so sure whether the plant likes so much air circulating around all the time...

Thanks guys! I'll be posting the usual daily pic a bit later in the day.

Peace,

Right on.. Make sure to stop the Ryno at bloom.. just use it in veg.. I use voodoo alot..

If you have more soil wet those pots and put both hands in and lift the plants and soil out at once . wile you hold it together have someone add more soil, and place the root ball and soil back on top.. the fastbuds genetics can take it and wont shock.. just keep the soil on the roots.. or get another pot add some soil then transplant you can do it as long as you can do it fast and keep the roots and soil together and wet..
