New Grower 1st grow evah! WOS Afghan Kush Ryder w/pics.

Here we go! My first grow ever. Using a 2 gallon airpot, with Lambert LM-3 (same as Pro-Mix), and at the moment 3x26 watt CFLs.

Germed one WOS Aghan Kush Ryders using the paper towel method. Straight into it's final home.

Being a newbie any and all critiques/advice are always welcome.

This is day 1!

looks like you are doing fine. Just hold back on watering to much and dont give any nutes til day 12-14 and then make sure its like 1/4 dose to start out with. It wont be long until you will be needing more lights as well. Best of luck in your grow.

What nutes are you planning on using? Also, are you using tap water, rain water or Reverse Osmosis water?

Looking good. Also, do you have a pH meter? I'd expect that soil less medium to pH around 7, which is a bit high for growing autos. I'd shoot for around 6.2 - 6.3 in that mix.

Scott, Ill be bumping up to 3x65 watt CFL's when flowering time comes.
Bailer, Im using reverse osmosis water.
Bailer & Thai, Im using Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom.
Muddy, Im actually off to get that from the store today or tomorrow. Slipped my mind to be honest. Thinking the local nursery should have them. If the ph is too high any good tips on lowering it?

Also forgot to note, unless you caught it in the picture, that I have a heating mat going underneath the airpot. Still a little chilly in my parts, the room sat at about 70 degrees. My thermometer reads at 80 degrees now in the growing area.

Hey brother. Cool little setup you go there. I was wondering: Where did you find that Lambert medium?

Squid, found it at a local nursery. Went looking for Pro-Mix, but they only carried Lambert. Im in the Midwest if that helps. From what Ive heard its all over Canada as well, being a Canadian product.
