Indoor 1st AFN Diary - Lowryder#2 & Easy Bud CFL

Into the 3rd week and this is day 21. They've had a few feeds now of 1.5ml/1L grow and i decided to hold out on using the cal/mag until they're in flower.

Is there a good way of telling when to switch to my 2700k CFLs and bloom nutes? I've always just guessed.

We're into week 4 now and the plants have gone on a massive growth spurt, when i got home from work the other day i found the Easybud had grown into the light and suffered some slight burning.

Should i change my lights and nutes to grow now?

I'll get some more pics up later, here's one i have for now.

Your lights are on grow already I think? Don't you mean switch to bloom?
If you mean the latter I would say switch if the vertical grow has almost stopped. Can't really see very well on the picture, but looks like the tufts of hair could get a little bigger so I guess they're still growing a bit.

Lol The Easy Bud on the right has gone a bit crazy and keeps stretching into the lights, its happened twice now. On my last grow one of the plants did exactly the same thing so i've given it a little bit of LST. I think i will give them just calmag next and then with the next watering i'll start on bloom.

Haunts i love your cab, nicely made pal, love the mini-humidifier, proper little place :)

How did the PC fans cope with the recent heatwave we had here ?

As regards OT nutes, i've used them for 11 grows on lowryders, ak ryders etc and with the same PM soil.

I found it was best to start them off on 1ml/L around day 12-14.

Nice cab man!

Cheers man, I have the pc fans hooked up to a variable voltage adapter, which is handy for such an occasion, so I just turned it up a bit.

I had to make a couple of carbon filters as well which i fitted last night, so they might have bumped the temps up a bit, I need to check on that this morning. I completely forgot to take pictures of them as well.:slaps:

Time will tell if they actually work or not but they look good though. Lol.

Hey everyone, loving the new look forum. So whilst there was some down time the Easy Bud developed a problem any ideas what it could be? The lowryder is fine. Here's some pictures of the problem progressing.
