so I did a build journal on my light and now I’m doing a grow journal with the light. I got everything set up almost. I’ll be doing a northern light X purple kush auto grow. Seeds were bred by me and I’ve done a number of runs with good results. Here’s what it looks like so far. Got the beans soaking 6 have taproots with 3 of them decent size. Going to do 8-10 in a 3x3 flood tray under the light. Will be using general hydroponic nutes with top feed. Anyways here’s the link to the build https://www.autoflower.org/threads/citizen-1812-build-from-cobshop-net.62128/
And thanks to @BigSm0 for the cob parts. Great guy to deal with and fast delivery.
And here’s the set up so far.

The 3 with the longest taproots are seedlings now. 4 are trying to make their way out to the world and 2 more had long enough taproots to put into rapid rooters and 1 more actually showing a baby taproot. So it looks like there will be 10 as long as they all decide to take life. I also switched from 9x9x6 mesh pots to 6x6x9 white square pots. I think that not having the vertical room for the roots to grow was holding me back on previous runs. Anyways I will be back in a few days with another update.
Edit: where the light currently is I’ll be 31” from the top of the pots. I’ve got 10” more of vertical light movement left until I’ll maxed out. Hopefully that will be enough.

Got 8 of the girls in the buckets with hydroton. Lights are about 29” from the tops of the buckets. Light should be on in a few hours and I’ll get pics. I need some drip line so I can set them up with their top feed. I was thinking of getting the green caps that fill up and disperse the water around the bucket better. I got 2 more waiting to sprout so not going to call this day 1. Pics coming soon.

Here Is the set up. It’s not permanent, just kinda threw it together to keep them wet. I’ll be going with floraflex 6” square feeder tops and hardware to match. Only problem I have is that I might need to get a bigger pump because they recommend 2 lines per site. Seems excessive but I’m going to order 2x8 way splinters and probably hard line something in.

Sorry I haven’t posted much had a super busy week. Still waiting on all my FloraFlex stuff. Only a few of the sprouted seeds look “good”. I think I moved them out of the dome a little too early. So I might pull the good ones and put them under my mars and start a new batch when all my stuff gets in. Should be in a few days. The plants do seem to like the light though.

Well my floraflex stuff came in. What an amazing product!! I don’t know if anyone here uses their stuff but wow. It’s a little bit big for my application but would work perfect for 6” rockwool cubes. But they are great!! Here are some pics of what I got set up.

Disregard the tray coloring. I’m going to have to clean it again because I was using clear tubing to top feed and water+light=algae.
But if you are looking for quality top feed system gear check them out. Also I have a 25% off code for purchases of 100$ or more jus to PM me.( not a sponsor of their, I just think that it’s a good product and want to pass the info along)
