Hi AFN,

It is said that auto's yield best under light cycles of >18 hours daylight, but could people post their results here for autos they have done with 12/12 lighting for all or some of the duration of the grow?

It would be cool if you could include...

Strain:
Yield:
% of the grow under 12/12:
Lighting:
Number of plants:
Any other info:

I did a search for "12/12 auto" but didn't find what I was looking for.

Well hello. Welcome to the site man.

There is a member by the name of name Automan that says he uses 12/12 with autos but only after the first few weeks, in which he does 24 hours. I don't know anyone that does 12/12 from the beginning though. Both decrease your yield but it can be done. Hope this helps.

interested too.. growing some photos and autos together would like to see some results.

I know that since Wiz has breed the jems outdoors and most likely all his crosses where he wasnt using artificial lighting to achieve 18 hrs or more of light. He was actually get quite less and he even grows in the winter with good yields. Ripster grew out a monster jem under t5s in 12/12 for the whole time it was flowering. Any strains by wiz are going to give you excellent results under 12/12. Any other company most likely wont give you that result mainly bc if you read stats about their strains they recommend 18+hrs and state they used 18+hrs to breed them as well. Well if your growing and breeding the plant under certain varibles they are going to be more accustomed to those conditions. Most autos coming out dont even compare when it comes to Wiz strains that have been breed way past the F7 generation the most stable autos on the market imho.

@ Squidherb, hello there and thank you for the welcome :) I will check out the thread from Automan, cheers.

@bgrt, if all goes to plan, I will have a grow going soon which would have both auto & reg plants, so hopefully I'll have some results to show from that.

@iLuvIndica, thanks a lot, I will check out Wiz seeds and Ripster's grow. Hadn't heard of those guys before. I'm new here :)
