Been lurking since I started my first Autoflower grow. It's actually my first grow all together, so bear with me :toke:

I'm growing 6 Dinafem Cheese Autos. I started them in 1gal pots in my closet. It was 2x4x5. I transplanted them about a week later into 3gal pots. I had them under a 96Watt T5 Panel (6500k) for about 2.5-3 weeks because of temperature problems. Then I bought a grow tent 4x4x6.7 and put them in there. Now I have them under a 400w MH bulb and the T5 panel.
Over the past 3-4 days they've started to develop pistils, so I'm wondering if I should switch them to my 600w HPS bulb now?
I've been using Cyco nutrients every 2 waterings since it stays pretty hot in there and uses a lot of water (86 degrees Fahrenheit, with an A/C running outside of the tent) And I put them in a Happy Frog Organic soil mix since germination.

I just want to see your guys' opinions on how you think I'm doing so far. In my opinion they look a little slower than other people's autoflowers, but maybe i'm wrong. I'd love to hear any opinions.
Thanks

Also, on the bottom middle plant, one of the leaves seems to have a weird discoloration to it, has anyone seen this before?

I would post this in the infirmary section of the forums m8.

However, I am not expert either, but they look healthy enough just a little small. Could be the lack of light, 96w is a bit low for six plants; also people have varying results/opinions on transplanting Autoflowers and recommend always put them in the final pot.

cant really see the discoloration int hat pic but they look very stretchy lower your light and yeh id agree get more of it. if youre using cfl they sound good but only work within short distances. this is why MH/HPS are favoured as they can cover a whole tent successfully. the more stretched and tall your plants get the less effective the cfls will be as they have to cover a longer distance.

short version get more light. other than that they look good dont worry theyll take off

They look like they were begging for more light for awhile. To compare mine are about 2 weeks old and are about the same size as the smaller ones.

Oh and id get them under the 600W asap as long as you got the heat under control

I am telling you man that 600 watt hps should run the same temp as the 400 Mh maybe even cooler...what kind of ballast do you have? is it digital or magnetic? is your reflector sealed or open?

I'm using a Galaxy electronic ballast. It has a setting for 400w, 600w, and TurboCharged.
My reflector is open... maybe that's why it's so hot. I might get one with the glass panel on the bottom.

But I put the HPS in last night on the 600w setting and I woke up to temp at 92. Seems high to me.
Is it okay to put the 600w bulb on the 400w setting? It stays at 86 if I do that.

i would try and level all the plants out by whatever improvised method you choose,as it seems your are negotiating the lamp height just because of the one tall plant,or you could look into supercropping, i think the tall plant would be an ideal candidate, looks awesome though, best of luck dude.

Comparison

Look fairly healthy but either myn are going crazy or there is something wrong. Here are 2 auto double big bud from just feminised and a close up of the stem in one..one I did very light lst in form of tucking fan leaves under side branches. They are 32 days from seed here 28 days from sprout just gone on to flower nutes couple days ago as wanted to push veg growth this is my first grow in soil using biobizz nutes and 600w dual spectrum light. I think it will be the light
