The girls looked a bit droopy today before feed, but that was after several hours in beautiful sunshine.
They perked up after feeding.

I did notice some leaf discoloration in the lower leaves but to me it looks similar to what @Ash-a-Ton said is normal in the School Daze Seed to Jar thread.
I do think it may be under feeding as till now I have been using the Canna Coco nute calc and selecting light feed schedule.

15/2 - Day 20
Decided tomorrow (16/2 Day 21) is time to start the Autopot reservoir.

Also, happy days! My AC Infinity Cloudline T6 was delivered, man this thing just oozes quality!
Happy to see it is reasonably accurate and matched my calibrated AcuRite 01083 Pro Accuracy Indoor Temperature and Humidity Monitor.
I installed it but havent properly plumbed the exhaust duct to the exterior of the room, another job for tomorrow.

And....i need to get a carbon filter soon, these lil babies are already starting to stink up the room the tent is in.

This is happening on both plants but this one(Sour Diesel) is the most prominent. I'll upload some better res pics tomorrow but at this stage i'm hoping the girls just need more food. I dont wanna fix something that isnt broken so appreciate any comments on this.
I'll post in the Infirmary section to get some opinions too.

Big day tomorrow

Yes sir, some things you can skimp on but the ph and ec meter are essential so to me its worth the extra dollars.
The crazy thing is though, these are made here in NZ, yet its about $50(US) cheaper for me to buy it off Amazon and have it shipped back here from the States. That's messed up maaaaan!

Hello :D

I saw your tag (to me) in the other thread so thought i'd head over and check out your journal.
It's a nice set up! Looks like you've done this before or done your homework!

Ideally ... (and life isn't always ideal right!?!) - at day 20 the leaves should have reached or nearly reached the edge of the pot. (that's how i gauge my starts).
I don't think you've done anything wrong, and all the kit looks right!

Personally i see those splodgy marks on the lower leaves all the time and don't give two hoots about them. I've put it down to my water being hard (is yours?).
There's probably way to avoid it. (waira will know)

As for the size, they'll pick up - i think it's mainly down to watering efficiency, ideal light height and temps that will make a difference over that short timescale.

Keep up the good work - don't stress too much. My plants in late mid to late flower under LED often look completely buggered with brown spotches and marks and curling leaves and all manner of unforgivable behavoir ... but i've learned to roll with it as my time has become constricted to only a couple of hours over the whole grow. Keep feeding - Keep the light on, and when it's done you'll notice your resevoir has stopped going down :D

Pick good genetics and you'll get a good harvest!

Other than that - coco is a great medium, and you can really push the plants to the limits using science ... (if you have the time!).
I've moved over to organics and autopots as i don't have the time to PH, EC, blah blah blah, i only have time to throw water in a res, and maybe raise a light a couple of times a week.

I hope this helps - Looking forward to seeing the harvest (which i' sure you'll rock!!)

All the best

Blue ^_^

@blue
Thanks for the encouraging words, yes I have done this before albeit back in college 25+ years ago. However, they were all rather amateurish attempts and while fun, never pulled any serious weight or smoke.
At the end of last year, some significant political changes happened here in NZ, with the end result being me deciding its worth the risk of a stealth tent grow(its still illegal for now). I have been doing my research, mainly here on AFN, and your thread was one of the ones that has been a good source of knowledge for helping me get up to speed.

In regards to the yellowing, I do think its not much of a concern, but part of me (the '1st time' grower part) is a bit nervous that it could be the start of a problem. As the new growth seems healthy, I'm just keeping an eye on it atm.

I did think they were a bit small in comparison to other grows here but I do think I didnt pre charge enough at the start, plus probably under watering too. Live and learn. And yes, I think going forward, Im going to stick to the likes of Fastbuds, Mephisto, Dutch Passion, Dinafem.
I actually have a Fastbuds GSC that will be in my next grow.

And finally, I kinda want to end up doing what you are, Organic and Autopots. I wanted to get a grow happening as quick as possible, so didnt think I had time to condition some soil. Plus, as you said, I think Coco will be a good experience builder.

16/2 - Day 21
Whew! Spent most of the day installing the exterior extraction vent for the AC Infinity Cloudline T6. Seemed like an easy job.....and then.....3 hours later.....haha!
Just glad the neighbors weren't home, they have direct line of sight to the vent but they cool, just wouldnt want to have to lie to them if they asked what I was doing, they nice folks.

The girls got another 7 hours in the summer sun while I was working in the grow room.

And as planned, filled the reservoir today and turned it on. Help yourself girls!

Only did a ~half fill.
20L
A- 37mls
B - 37mls
Rhizo - 40mls
Cannazym - 50mls

Still following the Canna coco grow guide calculator, and will do so for the rest of the grow.

Also, forgot to say earlier, im doing a 20/4 light cycle.

Take a look at the friendly chaps in the Biotabs section here https://www.autoflower.org/forums/biotabs.435/

I use these for a few reasons (1) It's easy, (2) Mephisto use em (3) They get me good results with such a small effort.

There's some quite serious information about them if you're into the how's and why's, @Biotabs F69 is the official rep, a super guy and great grower. If you decide to try them out, you can name drop me - tell him i sent you over lol (you never know, it may get you "something" ^_^ )

I've also documented my first few efforts with the tabs and autopots warts and all (no BS...well... a true grow (quite a lot of BS from me actually))
I'd recommend the starter kit to try, and i feel their organic PK juice is well worth the investment for returns (stops fluffy buddage).

Some food for thought! I still love coco, it's just more time consuming for me.
