First time with the Autopots and Athena Blended nutrients. Both have surprised me and blown out my 4x2 tent. Maybe I had my light to high but some bud sites have now grown past the light. Was thinking on supercropping some of the taller buds so they are under the light. I have also defoliated a lot. Any suggestons or if the supercropping will work?

It will work, but may slow development on the sites above the crop

go ahead and do it! I made that mistake a couple times.Just pinch then bend the stems. Don’t worry about be gentle, hell I’ve literally just snapped them at a 90% and they still were fine. And more than once, I’ve had plants that were accidentally broken on the main stem, which not only recovered, but ended with more bud than all the others! I was stunned the first time that happened. Had my dog pull a plant completely out of the soil. I just put it back and buried it again. Took a few days but again she grew and… yep, again an outstanding harvest from an abused plant. Cannabis is amazing!

You definitely need to go ahead and super crop. I break the stem down at one point 360 degrees around, so I can pick the exact site that I want to move it to.
I think you need to Defoliate some more and maybe pick some more winners and losers of stuff that’s not gonna make anything much.
I would get some bamboo and some soft green garden wire. The smaller of the two you may be able to get by with just sticking bamboo into the media straight up and support things that way. The other bigger one, you may have to build a scaffold at the height that you want to end up at.
I would probably start at picking out the extremely obvious losers very first. I would go ahead and pick what height I want tend up at and then build the scaffolding, do the supercropping and the last thing is to defol enough for proper air flow.
Yeah, it’s a little late in cycle, but you gotta do it.
I would so I could get the job done and then water. At that time I would at the very least introduce bacteria And a healthy dose of FFA with a dash of aminos to help the plant uptake the nutrients.
That’s to make sure that there is the least impact on your plant and with available nutrients for it to recover quicker.
$150 gets you one of these it might help you from doing this again.

You can defoliate a lot more, you won’t hurt her. You want air flow and light penetration, remove any leaves that are laying on each other, it’s a prime spot for disease to start. Super crop away! Pinch and soften the stems before you bend so they don’t snap and sever. These girls can take quite a bit of abuse and seem to love it. Good luck and welcome!

I know Im late to the party but yes this is the textbook situation for supercropping. Just pinch the stems about 1ft away from the light and bend the branches so they shade the least and leave the most airflow. If necessary you can supercrop the same branch multiple times to get that branch exactly where you need it. Be aware, cannabis is hearty and you may actually need to tie the branches down or use lst clips to keep them bent till that knob forms around the wound. You might bend them and find them standing straight back up in 12-24 hours.
One thing to mention is the light is great but all that low vegetation more than 2 ft under your main canopy will most likely produce larf unless you progressive harvest and chop the ripest buds first leaving the rest to dense up.
In the future remember to watch your plant very closely in veg. Im not sure if these are photos or autos. But I find lanky sativa like strains are much easier to manage with the photoperiod variety, but thats just me. I like photos because you have absolute control over stuff like this. With photos you can train out and down and once a plant reaches 1/4-1/3 the total height of the tent, including the pot, you can flip and be pretty sure your plant will at most just begin touching the light if it has a vigorous stretch. When I say keep an eye on them, I mean node spacing. If your light is dialed in right a plant will show its natural node spacing. If they stack up on top of eachother during veg, most likely it wont vigorously stretch, but if they have pretty decent spacing from the get go, they will probably triple in vertical height. This isnt a 100% truth all the time but it does give you insight into the possible future.

I have that meter! Been using it for 4-5 years now. I set my light to give me about 800PPFD +/- from seedling to harvest.

Hahaha I completely forgot I had this account and posted this. I did harvest all of it at like day 85 after only super cropping the higher bud sites. Lower ones I gave to buddy to use. I dried and am curing the buds I did save. Started my 2nd grow few days ago and came here to post and remembered I had posted these two. I have Space Station Gold auto going now.
edit: I am using the iphone app to dial in PPM. Photone or something, 150$ was a little high for me BUT if you really think its better than the app please let me know and ill consider it again. Thank you for your recommendation though

The apps available are accurate enough for home grows, the plants don’t care about the few photons the app is of by.

So how do you read the numbers off your phone when taking a reading in the back corner of your tent? Do you Hit A button like to take a picture?
I have my sensor on a stick and can cover the entire canopy in a few seconds and watch it as I move it.
I’d much rather have ease of use and accuracy.
Being as I’m not Getting any younger, I’m always gonna take that easy route!
That’s why my grow is SO automated.
The only grow device I have that I cannot control by my phone, is my damn AC Infiniti CO2 controller. I don’t know why they left that one out.
I have no idea..lol! I don’t recall ever using one I went right to the meter. It was $129 well spent IMO. And one less avenue for dropping my phone and maybe stepping on it!

Get a “selfie Stick” and reverse it…
I think at the time we bought ours, That phone app wasn’t very accurate.
After that first run with Linda seeds, I was tired of measuring tape and looking at the manufacture’s light chart.

The app reads the number out loud and yea i could put it on a selfie stick. I probably will end up getting the meter in the future but not this year. I also plan on upgrading everything to AC Infinity, slowly but surely.

I highly suggest that you first AC Infinity Purchase a Smart exhaust fan with 69Pro controller. Don’t bother with that AI controller.
Control the conditions in the room your tent’s located and fine tune that with the exhaust fan and controller.

I have an older AC infinity exhaust fan, I think before they integrated it all. Although I believe it should still work with the controller you are suggesting. I also have a vivosun tent, do you think I should get the AC infinity tent? I assume it makes things slightly easier to hook up.
I don’t know if the older reo-stat style exhaust fans will work with the new controller or not.
There’s no need to upgrade the tent if it works for you.
Personally, I like the design of the Gorilla line. It’s main benefit is the height.
Mars has the worst designs with the placement of the cinched air outlets and then also the corded cinched outlet.
An absolute must in my book is having a cinched air inlet at the bottom. I use a section of the air ducting ran outside of the tent as the air inlet. I’m bringing out far enough that there is no way light can get back into the tent. I sprayed flat black plastic paint inside of my ducting since it’s AC infinity and they decided to make it shiny inside. 
I rubber banded a paint strainer on the end until I found someone that made screen covers to tie on to the end just for this purpose.
