Hey now!
Happy caterday!

Hey,
Me again. Here’s something I whipped up last night. It looks like a bomb but it’s just a clock. I get these cool kits from China for wicked cheap and use for soldering practice. I’m planning on some new builds of audio gear and want to practice on the cheap stuff and get my “touch” back.

This is something I built recently.

So. . . While having a smoke before bed I had a bit of a thought. I love to build this stuff, it’s absolutely high end audio gear. While it’s not inexpensive it costs very little compared to what it sounds like. Most of it is designed by some of the best in high audio. My idea would be to build something for a percentage over cost and donate that to the site to help pay the bills. Do you think there’s any interest??
Thanks,
WWW

Are you getting them from ebay, or where do you get your kits?

I have my big box of Arduino components sitting right here; I've built a working GPS unit, a working text-to-speech synthesizer, and some other random stuff!

Ali express. That clock cost like 8 bucks with shipping. I chose that one because there’s a few hundred solder joints. Looks cool too.

I have an old Yamaha 2x10 bass amp that has problems, would love to get it fixed and “hotrodded” Tis a vintage solid state… would use it for guitar, not bass.
