Hello folks,
So my 3rd grow into using my Migro array and I love it.
I have it in a 60x60.
My previous favorites in this space being the HLG 135w far red QB, the Lumatek Attis and the SANlight Q3W.
For me the Migro wins top spot now as it takes all the best aspects of those 3 and puts them together in one package and adds some features on top and has a great price tag (200 euros) that seriously competes with the Chinese stuff. Awesome!
So without delay, here it is:
The Migro 120 Array is a well thought out and designed piece of led lighting technology. It’s delivers 120 true watts of power through two individual bars separated by a removable divider and when assembled it has a footprint of 48x36cm. It hangs on a single clamp/holder which attaches to the power chord and then to what ever hanging system you use (it comes with a ratchet pulley hanger in the box).
My particular one has the Lumi leds but it’s rated the same as the Samsung in all aspects. I believe the Lumi are slightly smaller so there is more of them. There is also a version with Osram Far reds for a few extra euros.
The separate dimmable driver can be located outside the tent and both the fixture and the driver did not heat up over 40 degrees Celsius.
The light has even coverage over the 60x60 no matter if it’s hanging parallel to the walls or diagonal which is great because only having one single hanger means it does move a bit.
Its waterproof coated and easy to clean and most importantly the plants seem to love it. I hang it a little closer from bloom onwards than the suggested 16cm. I have it around 13-14cm above canopy.
The inbuilt dimmer works well.
Here are the numbers/specs:
The MIGRO ARAY 2 is a 120W LED grow light with 2 LED bars, a single driver and a 3.5m (12ft) long cable
The only Con if any (and it’s not a big one) is the single hanger and bumping the light and having it move around. It’s hardly worth even mentioning but that’s all I could come up with as a con, so that’s all it’s got going against then hats off, it’s pretty amazing.
And on top of all that Shane at Migro is an awesome and very helpful guy and if you haven’t checked out his YouTube channel hit it up because there is some really great information there and it’s all fact based rather than hippie science and I really appreciate it.
