Indoor please read and help

As this is your first time, yes I would get the soil. Keep the coco for later - don't worry about wasting it. The soil can help balance a lot of first time mistakes. With the coco, the mistakes are much easier to make. If it is possible for you where you live to buy pre mixed super soil, I would do that. That is a specially prepared soil that has all of your nutrients already in it. All you have to do is water and wait. Some of the guys growing seeds and strains for TGA seeds use only super soil for their incredible cup winning grows.

coco is fine as long ass you have the correct nutes. the bottle will say so. I stared with coco and love it cause if you do have issues with over feeding its a quick flush to get the excess out and your much less likely to over water. the coco only holds so much water. also a suggestion. feed only half strength nutes and no water alone until your flushing fpr harvest. only during flushing for the chop

see. you will get a lot of opinions here. its all about what makes you feel comfy. no wrong way.

thanks every ya hippy i was plan on doing half strength regardless im just gonna go with coco coir
o i got the impression that coco was better cuz its more forgiving then soil
o and hippy r u talking about nutes to flush i need like biotaincare has sum thing called clearex its a flushing nute is that wat i wanna use if i need to flush plant out

oldster like you i am from northeast as well so heat is not an issue im growing in my basement so for now im sure a 4 inch scrubber should work i dont need to much heat extracted my first run with this cold winter.
im gonna get another 6 inch scrubber too in like may when it starts getting warmer in basement plus first whole month im using a 4 ft t tfive 8 bulb light for first 4 weeks so i dont have to worry too much on extracting im going ot use the fan at first to just bring new air into tent at the beginning and then when i get second scrubber is gonna be to extract light head i got cool tube hood. tahanks

I just use water when I flush. I use botanacare nutes and have seen the product your talking about. its suppose to grab onto the salts that build up and help pull them out, if its what Im thinking. I don't see how it would hurt anything so go ahead and use it if you like.

Im from the northeast as well and getting real tired of all this snow
