now this is for smaller spaces but all you need is a insulated cup with lid ( 2 lids would be better) something like a travel mug (big or as big as you can get) or even a thermas.

get sum string or something to hang it up in your room, tent, closet, ect.

and now the last thing is dry ice that you can get at alot of food stores.

take the lid of the cup or whatever and put sum holes in it.

put the dry ice in, put the lid on, turn the fans down or off, hang the container in the middle above or the same height as your lights.

now watch the humidity and watch the temps.

the co2 works better with temps around 79 to 82, dont freak out with the co2 the heat wont hurt the plants. now the trick is to see how much it takes to fill the room just over the plants. or if you have 2 lids you can just do it for at least 1 hour then cap it and put it back in the freezer till needed again. its clean and safe for your plants.

Remember when you come back to get your can or cup turn your fans on and let it air out a lil. also co2 isnt good for us so hang it and shut the door or whatever and let it do its thing.

hope this all helps and if you have anyideas on miking it better then please feel free. this was a suggestion from a couple of grow books ive read i just try to improve on the simple things ppl do to make it better for me lol.:bong:

Not a bad idea for a small space,

Years back we just did the the old sugar and yeast method.

Had a large room so we did up a 5 gallon pail and would run a hose into a big glass of water we had up on a shelf..lol

My fermenting room for my homebrew, is where the intake to my grow comes from.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but it just seemed logical when I drew up my plans.

Question

How much is the cost to generate Co2 this way compared to using say a $16 propane lantern set to low and a propane container for a BBQ? How much does the Yeast sugar with the 5 gal pot cost to run and does it make a nasty smell?

I am currently using a propane lantern. I am thinking of fermenting over ripe banannas a friend said he would give me free cause he works at a wholesale fruit and vegtable place. I am thinking of adding a few lemons and oranges. I think 5 lbs of regular sugar might be OK to add along with some wine yeast. My wife might help me she is good at making wine.

I turn the propane lantern on for 15 minutes with the exit room air fan off for that period. I guess when I ferment I will just turn the exit fan thermostat way up to maybe 85 to get more bang out of the CO2.

We are fermenting a batch of beer in my tent. It is a good way for us to share our hobbies as a couple...lol.
