Wonder if you could put the window air conditioner down at floor level and then box it out on the outside. Give it ventilation but keep it concealed sort of thing

My biggest worry with the flyovers is the FLIR. I have a good amount of tree cover and if i spray painted the a/c camo it wouldnt be noticable its the heat signature im worried about. IDK maybe im putting to much thought into it.:smoke:

Well after some digging on the site..i found an article about heat signatures and it turns out i have little to be worried about operating just a single 600 watt hps. and 4x125 watt cfls. PHEWW:dance2:..now if i can just keep the inlaws and ol lady off my back and outta my head ill be good to go. Tommorow i will change lights from 24/0 to 20/4. And add the 4 x125 watt clfs. Will post pics!:Sharing One:

Well today I checked ph ( which to my surprise none of my buckets jumped to drastically) Hung all 4 125watt CFLs above the 4 dwc buckets. And put all the lights on a timer. Lights will now shut off from noon to 4pm. Giving them a 20/4 schedule. Hopefully the last coat of flex seal stops the dripping from 30 gal res so I can get it all set up. While I was hanging lights today I dropped the cord to one of lights and of course it fell right onto a plant and damaged a leaf. Nothing to major but it left a mark. There is a faint aroma coming from the plants. I can only imagine how good it's gonna smell in a week or 2. Here's sum updated shots

Well ..... living down here on da bayou has its advantages and disadvantages just like everywhere else i suppose. Power went out on Thursday night and stayed off for a good 18 hours. Came back on then we got another 6+ inches of rain and a nasty lightning storm again last night so ...ya you guessed it power went out again. Not sure how long it was out this time because i had to take the kids and the ol lady to the inlaws. Will post some pics when i get home. Hope i dont end up with hermies.

firstly, WEnt to lowes the other day and they wanted 70 bucks for a 50ft 12 gauge extension cord so i took a 25 ft 14 gaughe cord outta the packaging and put the 50ft 12 gauge in the 25ft 14 gauge packaging saving me a whopping 50 bucks

Lol. That did make me laugh.

I just haven't got it in me to try hydro, so fair play for that. Too much to worry about for me. Soil is so much easier. Doing ok, they are a nice healthy green. I wouldn't bother using the cfls until they are weeks into flowering. The hps is ample for now.

Will follow this...

Almost forgot, last summer I had auto's on 12/12 coz of temps, when it cooled, I finished the last 5 weeks on 24-0 No hermies. Auto's are loads more stable than photo's, with regards staying female they are anyway!

This is only my 2nd grow and i have yet to try soil. Although I think next go around I will. Seems like so much less of a hassle...

I have the 30 gal res i made from a plastic container filled with next round of water for them. I added to it 235 ML Sensi grow Parts A&B. 50 ML of b-52.PPM 850 up from 700. ph is 6.8 but im letting it bubble overnight then i will adjust. This mix will go into the 4 5 gallon buckets. and the rest will go into the emilys garden. I was going to put all the plants from the emilys garden into the res i made but i ran into a problem. See Below

The lid will not fit once the res is full so im gonna try to tinker with the water level tommorow to see if i can get it on there. Also am thinking about removing the CFLS until last 2-3 weeks of flowering. As suggested above. Can i get another opinion on this? 600 watt hps is enough for all 9 of them, until the last 2-3 weeks?

If one goes tits up and you are not sure if you want to continue with it, wip it out and plant it in soil :-)

Al in all you must be pleased. They are looking much better.

If all those plants grow big, you will have a jungle in there LOL

You could get a flat bit of wood, that over laps the whole res, cut new holes and use that instead?

looking really good Oxy , there decent 3 week girls :Sharing One:the swap to HPS sounds like a plan ,throw the CFL's in later
