Indoor Appletizer

When you spray it and when it is wet and still drying, you dont want it in full light, can cause burns ad damage. Turn lights down or off while spraying and until dry.đź‘Ť also a good surfactant should keep the water from beading up, try a drop of dish soap, i like

I asked Grok to formulate me a foliar spray based on research. This is what it came up with it also included a particular surfactant and PH instructions. I personally would add fulvic acid to this. But it’s recommendations are already chelated. It also included a plant safe surfactant.

What do you think of the sprays it recommended? Just out of curiosity

I dont use chat gpt like that, you dont know where its pulling all its info from and i usually opt to do the research myself, it creates an understanding of why we do what we do. The spray looks pretty good but are you really gonna source all those raw ingredients? Then figure out how to administer them in the correct ratios?I try to simplify my approach by trying to find products that are already complete and have a few supplements for things that get used up quiker in container plants like fulvic and silica. I dont use RO i no calmag. I use foliars maybe once or twice in veg but thats rare and only when i see deficiencies or need to deal with a problem. I try not to use more than 5 products at a time as i like to keep my ppms as low as possible because my tapwater quality is shit. Most important thing ive found is keeping temps and humidity dialed with good airflow, almost all plant foods made for cannabis are pretty damn complete and you just have to make sure you arent using peoducts that double up on stuff unless you are intending to do so. Anyway hope that helps explain my process a bit.

I might try to source them. But im guessing itll be cost prohibitive. I really like the idea of a general booster foliar feed. And i like the idea of crafting my own. But part of what I’m doing is trying to understand what goes into an effective foliar feed.

as a note, the lights are pretty close to tmy plants and they’re not showing much signs of stress but its only been a day. I’m considering making a spray that could reduce oxidative stress so lights can be pushed harder. I wonder if there would be a demand for that

There are products like that

Ill look into it thank you
Not a foliar, but co2 augmentation will speed up photosynthesis allowing you to push lights and nutes harder! I think you would get alot more benefit from co2 using it correctly than any foliar spray.

The lights are still 6 to 8 inches away from the top of the canopy at 100% power. The plants were happy at 1150 ppm, so i went up to 1250 in the autopots. Plants are still looking good, there might be a tad of stress. 8 inches seems to work without stressing at all. I need to get one of the photon flux sensors. I think they can measure either PPFD or lux? Idk. Regardless, I’m curious about how much light is actually getting to them.

I’ve been super lightly misting the plants with fulvic acid foliar spray a few times a day on the underside of the leaves to help with oxidative stress from photosynthesis.

One thing to note is that leaf tucking is hard harder with fulvic acid because it makes the plants perk up. I’ve heard people call it “praying”.

The plants just keep growing and growing. They’re sucking down tons of water. They’re not even full swing into flower yet. Harvest is looking promising.

You know what? I’m pushing everything to the max so I think I might grab some CO2 bags. My grow area is on the bottom floor where we sleep and it’s not super sealed so I’m not sure I’d wanna run a tank

Just keep the bags as far away from your exhaust fan and keep them above the plants as co2 is heavier than oxygen and falls kida like rain. I went with diy co2 generator because my tent is so small i use yeast amd sugar with baking soda and water, there are similar setups that use citric acid and vinegar that eoduce more co2 for bigger tents, alot cheaper than any manufactured products and work just as well . There are actually a few different ways

looks like they have grow bags at my local hydroponic store.

Im wondering if a water heater/furnace puts out significant co2? my grow space is with the water heater and furnace. I know the furnace exhausts when running but i think the pilot lights arent vented unless the furnace fan is blowing.

Idk but im looking forward to seeing what mass these girls put on. Im seeing more pistils in the growth tips like full flower is coming soon
