So youd recommend just keep doing what im doing? Watch for stress, but keep the intensity up
Personally, i don't think led lights burn plants. I've had a few touch the lights with no issues. And never see actual light burn pictures anywhere on this site. Too much light will up the chance of rot with stocky plants though, so you gotta find your balance

You mentioned an air dome in the first post but I never noticed the aqua valve in your picture. I use autopts too, you should check out their tray2grow its badass. I have two running in my 5x5. My DLI gets up to about 55-60 with no co2, I thought 60 was kinda high but 108 wow 😂 but my light is always at least 24” above canopy until light can’t be raised, yours is much closer. If your plant looks healthy then carry on!

By the way the link at the bottom of my posts is my tray2grow journal if you want to check them out, I love them. No air base needed because the plant sits on a capillary mat instead of submerged like the autopot.

Right, my understanding is too much hurts photosynthesis. from LEDs it seems to overwhelm the photosynyhetic pathway rather than actually burn the surface of the leaf. So you end up with stress symptoms like stunting. - which is why im trying to reduce stress caused by oxygen produced as a result photosynthesis.

Theyve been close to that intensity for quite a while so its not like this is totally new. I think a week or so ago I lowered the light a little bit. I don’t know what’s going on. It’s possible that I could’ve measured the light intensity wrong - except my measurements and lineup with the factory PPFD maps. It doesn’t really make sense to me why these plants can love being pushed so much harder than what everyone suggests. I’m not an expert grower and I know expert growers who know much more than me are the ones suggesting 60 DLI max.

I’m hoping that fulvic acid is reducing the photosynthetic stress and allowing it to perform more.

I have the xl system. I have both the aqua valve and the airdomes. That bed would be cool for my other plants. My smell cover crops. I dislike watering their pots, id rather fill a reservoir

Let’s pretend I get a huge huge harvest. Would anybody be interested in trying my spray? I’d send it out to you for free.

I’m also finding out that my plants thrive in much stronger feed and light than previously advised by many people. 60 DLI isn’t the highest I aim for, it’s the highest I get with my light being at least 24” away. I’m sure your measurements are accurate.

It could all be genetics and you may have a strain that loves stress
