Thanks BRIAR! I copied and pasted what I said about them after being freshly harvested:

This stuff smells amazing. That putrid smell has faded over the last few days and has been fully replaced by Berries. Dub calls them Elderberries. He is most certainly right- I don't remember what they smell like at all. But now I know they smell like CC bud. But CC Buds not only have that strong Berry smell- there's a sharp and spicy, cinnamon-y smell that goes along with it. It is sooooo good. Right now the smell coming out of my dry-box is Sour Green Grass.

The putrid smell that I was talking about wasn't as bad as it reads... Late in flowering, her tangy, Very(red)Berry smell gave way to some stinky smell, not that anything was rotten or anything. It was gone right after harvesting.
When cured, the buds smell like berries and brown sugar or maple syrup, skunky... Really dreamy!

Now that it's been jarred for over half a year, the smell has mellowed quite considerably. The jar smells like weed, but not like it did. Till you break up the buds and then it's more skunky maple syrup... Very nice. And the taste is the same. This stuff is smooth on my throat and is still my sleep aid of choice. Can't go without it.
