Hi lads

Anyone here manage to order tobacco online cheap? I know people can get them bulk and cheap. As lots of people sell it from time to time.

Wondering if anyone has a good supplier or website that posts it to UK

I buy from these guys, they have UK listed on their shipping list...

These guys ship all over but don't have a listing for the UK, might be worth giving them a shout out !

Cheers
thx bro. Looking for the likes of “amber leaf” and so on. Website doesn’t appear to have it

Haven't actually seen amber leaf before ?

Get this, Canadian Virginia flue cured is grown in BC, distributed in SK. and sold to the US.

Because of our tobacco excise taxes you can't buy it in Canada. So I order from the states and have it shipped back to Canada, sigh...

Shipping on Leaf Only is quite expensive but if you buy six or eight pounds at a time it still works out to WAY less than buying store bought shredded tobacco.

I am going to buy from Whole Leaf next week. Shipping is less expensive and they have hand wrapped bundles for the same price with the middle stem Removed ! Grown in the states though...

The stem is likely 25-30% of the weight of the leaf and a PITA to remove :biggrin:

Cheers

UK customs will pound your ass for duty on its way in, if the company declare what it actually is - which I assume they will do if they are legit.

The only way to do it cheaply is old school & find someone who gets it smuggled in. I have a mate who sells both tobacco & weed now, as the profits are good & he sells both to the same people. He never runs out of weed, but there's never enough tobacco.

Or if you know someone in the EU they could 'gift' you.

Tobacco purchases over the internet

It is legal to buy tobacco over the internet from another EU country, however, UK VAT and excise duty (currently at 5.3%) must be paid on it. The seller must make arrangements for these taxes to be paid before they are sent to you in the UK.

As a customer, you should check that all the requirements will be satisfied before the tobacco products are sent, otherwise the goods you buy are likely to be seized by Customs, and you risk prosecution. Generally, Customs will NOT restore seized items even if you are later able to pay the UK duty and VAT.

Even if the tobacco is a personal gift, there is no statutory relief for tobacco goods posted as gifts from other EU countries. Excise duty must still be paid prior to the goods arriving into the UK but the import VAT charge is waivered. However, additional charges will not normally be made provided that:

  • It is a bona-fide gift sent from a private person in another EU country to a private person in UK;
  • It must be for your own personal use and cannot be sold to others;
  • You must not have paid for it, either directly or indirectly;
  • There must be no commercial or trade element to the contents of the consignment;
  • The item must be for your own personal use-it should not be imported for the purpose of being sold on.
