I always figured that someday I'd reach an age when I was no longer ruled by lust, which has led me into a fair number of dysfunctional relationships. I'm 70 now, still waiting.
My aversion to aggravating situations, and love of a peaceful life take precedence over any fleeting lust I may experience. That’s what I tell myself, anyway
