hiya I’ll repost my post from intro thread
:
Hiya! Indoor grower from late 90’s ( and 80s humboldt trimmer) who had to put it away for 20 years due to *ahem* “issues” . Anyway thought the corona housebound time was good time to start again, but my how things have changed! All this great info!!! None of this existed in my last run. Forget autoflower and even fem seeds were just a twinkle. I pulled my rig out of mothballs ( 400 hps) I just popped a few autos last week and have been absorbing the changes in the game. I’m sure I’m gonna have a lot of questions , but for now things are mostly good.
great community here.

so now here come the questions ( and may act as a semi grow journal.)
like I said first autos, but some long ago past experience. These popped for me on 4/28. ( set in a 70% light warrior 30% happy frog 8 Oz mix on 4/25) 2 cheese, 2 gods glue, and a northern lights ( thanks MOC for the couple NL freebies). Anyway mistake #1 I made right away ( according to conventional wisdom) is I didn’t pop them in final container, I popped in 8 Oz Dixie cup
So after realizing on day 6 right before dark period I decided to get them out of the cups ( thought I was early but roots were about to bottom of cup already much to my pleasure) into 2/3 filled 5 gallon fabric pots with a 50% happy frog, 40% ocean forest, 10% light warrior ( in place of perlite, also added some extra light warrior in transplant hole as to give them the majority of “home “ they were In dixie cups). After reading all the transplant no no’s I was scared , but they didn’t seem to miss a beat . I’m on day 8.5 now and they continued to grow almost immediately ( luckily I think I handled transplant well)
so here comes my first question .
these are all 8.5 days
Here are the 2 cheese
I’m not thinking they look 2 bad at all. Consistent healthy color throughout. And sturdy
here is the northern lights:
looks to be very much inline with the cheese progress. Maybe a couple spots.
Here is what has me pulling my hair out.
the gods glue (aka Gorilla glue #4) these are by far the fastest growers and still are but there have been leaf anomalies and brown spots on occasion. But all new growth thrives! Keep in mind that all 3 different strains have been treated exactly the same for last 10 days. Is this strain Difference? I have to think so. But was wondering.
anyway I look forward to your wisdom feels great to get back in saddle again!
