- 10% Afn discount also.@PlatinumLEDTom can you explain the coating you left off these cobs and why? For 599.00 this is a wicked price for four hundred and twenty watts at the wall.

- you nasty! ... gotta save some energy for the rest of the harem!
.... OK OK, servicing that many ladies is a "daunting" task,....
...Can you expand on what you mean by the leaves staying darker longer? You mean they don't fade as fast during bloom? Do you find there is less tendency for Ca/Mg issues to pop up?
pfffffff, that's one step above saying "it's a plant",.....
... I hope it's something different, interesting... I guess we'll see next year, ay?
Yes it retains chorphyl in the leaves longer it produced bigger bud in the canopy and really dense nuggets. It is to bad that people think that just because it is blurple or blurple will not be efficient well Platinum led has proved that wrong..... she looks the Amsterdam window queen in that fuchsia light!

Oh yeah I'm growing OGKZ from Humboldt seeds that looks like a killer strain. 2020 is going to bee like smoking HONEY..... she looks the Amsterdam window queen in that fuchsia light!

So the COBs in these lights aren't the COBs you are probably used to. Traditional COBs contain multiple low wattage blue LEDs on a board, that are covered with a phosphor coating to disperse the light and create a white light. Different COBs can have different color temperatures depending on the coating, such as blue more daylight look at a high color temp or warmer red look at a lower color temp.
Anytime you put any type of coating on a light source the intensity (PAR) will be lessened....think of a coated light bulb.
You are also getting lots and lots of yellow, green and orange light from traditional COBs, which are colors used by the plant, it just doesn't need that much of it.
Our COBs include our 14 band spectrum which includes deep blues, reds, mid spectrum light, UV and IR and have NO phosphor coating. Our spectrum helps bring out more taste, smell and potency.I hope this helps!
