This girl is a little slow to respond to my increased calmag overtures:

I’m still firmly in noobland on all this but I’ve got a hunch DWC roots aren’t as fragile as we’ve been led to think. I’m brewing my first batch of tea and instructions are to throw in a couple handfuls of Ancient Forest and strain it out later. I say No to strain it out later, that’s good clean dirt. I’ve heard of people throwing worms directly in the res and wouldn’t put it past me to do that too. Just getting started. Brmmm Brm.

Yeah with my previous nute lineup I was starting calmag from the very start but thought as I was using mega crop 2 which has added calmag along with my tap water I could get away with adding later, lesson learned, every grow from now on with whichever nutes I'm using I'm gonna feed calmag from the start!

Haha! I like that article! I found a couple that focus on the fact they CAN live in there, that one also mentions the benefits to the plant, which is my top concern. I’ll be collecting info and as time moves on, I wouldn’t be surprised if the red worm is in my future.

-- Sure looks like severe P defc., which is odd as hell!... what's the res' T? Only other thing I can think of is a bad infection... I'm not sure I've encountered a funky pheno' that was P "challenged",... If she stays shaky, might be wise to cut your losses,....
Definitely not B defc, that's immobile and always hits the uppermost leaves first and worst,...

Thanks Waira! Res temps sit at 68F, it seems to have slowed down somewhat as 1 set of leaves has managed to survive longer then 48 hours
New growth looks decent and all the nodes have started growing now so I will give her a few days to see if I've got on top it, am loathed to pull her as I grow in a small space and she is 1 of 2 so cant afford to lose 50% of my potential crop!

Thanks Waira! Res temps sit at 68F, it seems to have slowed down somewhat as 1 set of leaves has managed to survive longer then 48 hours

Thanks DG! Ironically now I've been changing alot of things in the tent to try to get on top of these issues, my other girl who was loving life has now gone all droopy and looks like a cabbage or a lettuce lol, the Joy's of chasing deficiencies hey

Yeah buckets are doubled up, black on the inside and white on the outside including the lids

MC1, my PH has worked between 5.8-6.5. Usually above 6. I used to run 5.8/5.9 but no longer chase that. My tap has a PH of 8 with 300 ppm. MC2 and MC1 are basically the same but just different ratios. I’ve been told people use less with 2.
