I ordered some jaffa cakes from a UK retailer, and the package never arrived. I wrote them an email letting them know, and they offered to send a replacement. Being a bit concerned with the warm weather coming up, I told her that I'd rather not get anything than a few columns of fused together cakes. I told her that it's not their fault the package got lost, and they don't have to bother with the replacement. I'll just order more in the fall.
Their response:
"Thank you for your email i think we should risk the resend as jaffa cakes are most certainly worth the risk - they are mine and my family's favourite. I will resend in the morning. "
I find it impossible to argue with her reasoning.
