Hello all. It’s been a while... I have a question for anybody who can answer... I recently made a tincture in my magical butter machine. I used 188 proof alcohol (global 94) and I plan on making gummies. I did an 8 hr run at 130f and strained everything. I used 3 oz of think big and 3 cups of alcohol. The recipe I have for the gummies says to take the tincture and evaporate the excess alcohol in a sauce pan at low heat- I know many also do this with a mason jar with no lid in boiling water and then blah blah blah... my question is, before I do that am I ok taking the tincture orally without further reducing the tincture? Should I expect it to have a decent effect? Just asking cuz I’m not in the mood to do anything now and I want to check potency of what I’ve got so far. I took a 1ml dropper (more like 85% of a dropper)almost an hr ago... just curious if I’m on for a treat or if I really need to do the additional step of boiling off alcohol to get an idea...
