New Grower Dinafem Blue Kush & Dinafem Fruit - Grow Battle Journal

Blue Kush my week 5, day 32 above ground. She has 10 main cola sites after topping and trimming top 2 fan leaves. Under 24/0 led due to heat issues. Should be able to go back to 19/5 soon. Both girls got 1.5 litres of aged tap water with 4ml grow, seaweed tonic, worm juice, calmag and bio.

Auto Fruit week 5, day 31 above ground. Feeding as above. Staying short which I was expecting, looks like 6 decent side colas and main cola. Gave her a little trim to let some light in.

Week 6 for both girls, glad I read the description on blue Kush as taller. Topped at 5th node but then started sprouting new shoots all over the place. If I can get them to grow upwards could be a good yield. Blue Kush is very thirsty taking two midweek waterings, one with half normal nutes and one plain water, about 3/4 of a litre each time and still dry by today. So both got 1.5l of aged tap water, 3ml old timer bloom, 1ml old timer grow, 1ml calmag, a splash of molasses and pressed kelp juice. Not convinced on molasses yet but we will see.

Fruit Auto is a lovely small girl, you can see her compared to the Kush lol. I am letting her grow naturally, no leaf cutting or topping. Just tucked a few leaves. She is my favourite even though she is so small. Might work for you @archie gemmill . I would say 8" max.

looking good Rollin much prefare the smaller christmas tree shape plants.have a habit of catching limbs on door handles and the like.

Week 6.5 update - both thirsty girls. Gave them both 1l of water with 3ml bloom, 2ml seaweed tonic and 1ml calmag. Blue Kush shot up and the fruit is starting to rise. What a difference 3 days make. She is a lovely little plant covered in flowering colas. The blue Kush is absolutely covered in bud sites. You can see the height difference in the 4th pic - about 24".

Looking forward checking out the growth on those strains, and hearing your thoughts on the smoke. Blue kush is def on my list to grow!

Likewise, I have the Blue Kush on list of possibles on my next bean order.

Well calmag problem gone but leaves are a bit tatty. Topped blue Kush and needed bit of water. 2ml grow, seaweed tonic for nursing and cal mag. Fruit is a lot slower but they are supposed to be short. Not drinking as much so no watering mid week. Kush is 22 days and fruit 21 from ground breaking. 24/0 90w CFL light each.

From the start of my first grow, i seemed to have a cal/mag phobia and as part of my feeding regiment, feed 3 ml/gal of Cal/Mag every couple days. about 6- 8 oz of the mix Per plant. I discovered by unfortunate accident last summer don't mix cal/mag (specifically cal/mag +) with other nutes. It will hose the ph.

From the start of my first grow, i seemed to have a cal/mag phobia and as part of my feeding regiment, feed 3 ml/gal of Cal/Mag every couple days. about 6- 8 oz of the mix Per plant. I discovered by unfortunate accident last summer don't mix cal/mag (specifically cal/mag +) with other nutes. It will hose the ph.
