No sign of any action in the paper towel, but opened up the bag for a mist of water and some fresh air.

I like to let my seeds sit in a cup until they sink to the bottom then I plant them. Works best for me and no rotten seeds.
I did that before but thought I would try this method for the battle, so I know they started and I don't waste 5 days waiting on a no show lol

So we reach the end of week 1 that's from placing them in paper towels. Blue Kush broke ground 30/1 and Fruit 31/1. So today they got there first watering after the initial pot soaking. Soaked pot again with 1/2 a litre each aged tap water, 3ml white vinegar and seaweed tonic. pH 6.5 under one 45w CFL each 5000k. Temp 21 to 24C. Humidity around 50%.

So week 2 - Blue Kush - 11 days from breaking ground. Fruit 10 days from breaking ground. Just watering once a week 1.5 litres aged tap water. This week they got 1ml old timer grow, 2ml seaweed tonic and 0.5ml old timer bio. Blue Kush got a bit lanky so added some soil to support stem. Put them both under a double CFL each - 90w a few inches above the plants. Lights on 24/0.

Okay attempt number two.

I left the seedlings in a glass of water for 24 hours this time they sink after about 10 hours floating on top. Then I took them out of the jar and look for any sign of a crack or anything that said hey these are great seeds ready to take off, but I didn't see any signs of life.

So I went back in for another 12 hours and then I went to the paper towel method.

The ambient temperatures in my home run between 82 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter, I keep my seeds up on top of the refrigerator where it's usually warmer. So I have a relatively warm environment for the soaking of the seeds, except the summer when everything is quite a bit cooler when we don't let the temperature get above about 73 or 4.

Where I'm growing
I wait until they sink and then put them in the soil if I use that method. When I did the paper towel I didn't pre soak in a cup and just put them in damp towels.
