Yesterday I received an email from Mastercard advising me that there was unusual activity on my card . I don't use it very often but my Visa card is shall we say over extended right now . I appreciated the warning as it showed Mastercard is on the ball and the unusual activity was just me buying seeds and had forgotten who I had purchased them from . :nono: By the time I figured it out I had called Mastercard to explain as I had initiated a hold on my card . Much to my surprise the young lady that answered my call was in Puerto Rico . Now I have no problem with people in other country's earning a living but do we not still have an unemployment issue in the USA and Canada . Just goes to show that major companys don't give a shit if your unemployed or not it's all about the bottom line and how much money did we make this month . Rant over . :toke:

Me too  You've got 4 ?? Do you think you're getting enough coverage with 4 lights ?? Just curious .
I believe so as it's dang bright in there. I set the lights 16 inch from the walls and centered over each pot underneath so there should be some overlap of light coverage.

Unfortunately i dont have a light meter...this is the 5th run i have done at 24 hours on(each run 80 days) as well as another 2 season of 2 month + vegging of outdoor plants. To date i have seen no reduction in yield, actually yields have been quite good(shooting for 1 gpw on the run i just finished). Still not comparing them to the effectiveness of cobs, but for the guy on a major budget they arent a bad bunch of lights at all!! (mars 100X3, galaxy hydro 100X3). I chose the 3w models because i have a very cramped space and thought they would be the best choice with limited vertical.

yeah I'm on major budget, I could never afford cobs... they simply out of my price range by a lot...

I hope you guys didn't think I was totally knocking the blurples.. I realize a lot of folks can't really afford a baller setup, but as I've done a rough tally of all of the stuff I've bought over the years because it was "awesome" or it worked great for others, and it was probably close to the tens of thousands of dollars.. Not because I had a bigger budget, but because I spent all that I had to make my grow work the best..

I hold you 2 in a bit higher regard, since you guys have been doing this for a while, and you both have your respective grows dialed in!! If I had to skimp on anything, I don't know if I'd personally do that, but that's me.. If you're a clandestine grower, trying to make some extra cash, I could see how this would be very appealing.. Switching to ANY LED over HID is a big improvement in efficiency, not to mention your electrical footprint.. My mentor told me it would be decades before LEDs caught up.. Looks like he may have been a little off!!

That's perfect my man. You're gonna love it. I think I would need six of them to go full coverage in my room. Can't afford that all at aonce for sure. I might be able to get one or two a year and use them as side lights. But as you say, the electric costs! holy crap my bill just came and let's just say it's scary.. My plants are swimming in HPS light and growing into the roof though. I am rolling the blurples out for the next grow, should be a great comparison.

I am still thinking they have not caught up unless it's the new COB's, but it's hard to say till I do a comparison run in my new climate controlled setup. But one thing I know for sure, the girls I have under HPS are praying like no other plants I have ever grown. I never saw this with the blurples.

Hecno needs help . I just need some loving . My sons mate is on ice , They have been friends since they where babies , I am sorry but [ I -- Fuck -- ]I hate the shit --. ] I am a small business owner and in my community and I have seen what it doe;s Then [ may be wrong my mistake ] I told him is is not welcome anymore .at my home . It hurts me do to do it , But what is a bloke to do . --- I will not tolerate -- The shit , .My home is save Haven for every colour and creed all is well come . Step over that mark you are not welcome . And I will enforce it .

You do the right thing. Even when it's not the fun thing. You do what's best for your family, and for the future. You make sure that your son will understand to stand up for what is right, even if it hurts. You are doing it right. Standing up to bigotry or racism is never easy, but always correct.

I put mine 11 in from the wall . The inside dimensions is 45 in so I divided it in half and then in half again . which gives me room to use my Panda COB as an auxiliary light and that makes it real bright . I have to get an extension cord plus some tie's to finish the job so it's nice and tidy .
