Kinda politics, but cannabis related so I hope it's ok - looks like US DOJ revoking or has plans to revoke memo that let recreational live somewhat in peace. Hoping everyone in a legal state is ready to fight back against federal tyranny!

I'd rather be an outlaw than beg for their blessing.
Probably wouldn't affect me anyways, I only smoke weed twice a year, on my birthday, and when it's not my birthday.

Quick question... Would it be a good idea to combine an 8 bulb T5 and a "1000 watt" LED in a 4x4 tent? The LED is a cheap ass model (HollandStar, I think it is). Stated ppfd at...30" I think it was, was something like 2200.
Has uv leds.
Would it improve yield and trich production?
I'm thinking about angling them from the sides so the footprint over laps.
Good idea? Bad idea? Won't know until I try?

go for it, as long as temperatures are not an issue it's a good plan.
