Anyone ever have "those" thoughts when you're stoned as hell? You know, The ones you really don't talk to people about because they're wayyy too sober to understand?
I've had a few of those lately. Like "What if the reason we're having all of these natural disasters ISN'T because of global warming/climate change, But because we're starving mother earth? We die, we go in a plastic box inside a concrete vault... and that energy is stored like a battery, Instead of going back to the earth where it's supposed to return?"
Conservation of Energy "energy cannot be created or destroyed in an isolated system."
We're not doing either, we've just been storing the energy away for the past couple hundred years...

The other stupidly stoned thought was "What if... Like, What if nothing exists how we think it does. We're not normal people. We're the guy in the bicycle helmet staggering down the hospital hallway or laid up in some deep coma somewhere, and everything around us is a figment of our imagination. Everything we see, hear and think is put there by our "handler". Your wife... Your dog... Everything you know and love... It's not there. You're the equivalent of the severely retarded guy with CP that can't do more than drool all over himself while your nurse changes your colostomy bag... But in your mind, you're the king of the fucking world, buddy. Everything is put there for your comfort..."

...and then I smoked another bowl and fell asleep haha. If Phillip K Dick and Chuck Palanhuik(spelling) hadn't written books like that, I'd have to haha

I usually try to stay clear of this over-philosophizing, it never leads to anywhere. You're trying to get above on a different level that simply isn't there. If you are a guy who's living all of this in your head, then what's the use of getting out of this living dream? To just lay there on a hospital bed, "severely retarded"? Nah, the simple fact that you can go outside today, jump in front of a car and kill yourself proves one and only thing, it's real. It shouldn't plug you out, so if you're dreaming all of this, why not dream up a new car, a new villa and everything?

I'd dream me up some glueberry og right now... :crying:

I actually think it's fun to think up dumb stuff like that, man. I've got an oddball imagination that knows no bounds. Getting up on the non-existent different level leads my mind into pretty interesting areas. I'm in the process of writing a book based off of that shit, actually. It reads like Douglas Adams spent a week with Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, living his lifestyle...and then wrote a book.

My recurring "what if" deep thought.... what if our solar system is just an atom and our galaxy just a giant collection of molecules in some huge universe above the one we know?

Reminds me a little of something I read once while studying some Neo-Confucianism philosophy; that nothing exists outside of our own minds.

But the way that the philosophy looks at it is not that nothing else is real, just that each individual and their individual mind has their own unique universe.

For example, I can tell you all about the beautiful lilac bush out in my back yard. I can tell you how it gets dozens of beautiful, deep purple blooms almost covering it just about every spring. How the smell of lilac will waft in through the nearby windows and make the whole house smell of it. But...none of that exists in your world. Only my description of it would exist in your world. Because you have never seen the bush, smelled the bush, touched the bush, etc..etc... it doesn't exist in YOUR world. Only my description of it does.
