Hmmm... Dollars we call "Bucks" or "Bills" I've heard $5, $10, & $20 called "Spots" ex 5 spot... 10 spot lol. $100 I've heard called "C notes" that's what the mint calls them lol

Pennies, dimes, nickels, quarters... All pretty standard... Can't think of more lol

I heard a name for the $1 coin too....can't remember it tho. I've only seen them given back in change using rail in NY & CT

Does anyone remember a deal being called a draw.
Hash also used to get called draw as well.
The UK is 80% self sufficient these day with all the weed that is grown here with only 20% (mostly hash being) imported these days.

I have never liked deals, draws or bags as a unit of sale but these have always been street deal terms.
I personally don't like to buy cannabis as a deal, it was by weight or not at all.
It's all going metric these days if you do buy by weight ie x number of grams, slowly the words teenth & eighth are slowly fading away.
In America they used to sell weed in lids, which i believe was a tobacco tins lid levelled out, as people didn't want to posses scales, hopefully one of our US members can verify this.

I don't know where the term 'lid' came from, but I've always known a lid as being an ounce. Looks like the term around here is a "zip" nowadays.

a lid is also slang for a hat

Don't know anything about that. And my Ducksfoot is not Wally Duck's. I'm fairly sure mine is landrace Australian Ducksfoot. Its been here since before Wally release his cross.

Grew up in the San francesco bay area, I'm the late 70's forward...when I first started buying weed it was lids. The term seemed to be loosely used as I've seen mason jar lids, tabbaco lids and a couple others used. Came out to about a half oz usually. But most adjusted price to reflect the size of the lid used. I never liked purchasing by volume...I prefer weight, to many shenanigans. Ahhh who the hell am I kidding... I've always hated purchasing something that can be grown with a little effort.
